Bottle noteThe nose delivers big toffee, before you discover vanilla, marmalade, sweet tobacco and honey-glazedham. In reduction it balances millionaire’s shortbread with salty pease pudding. The sophisticated palatecombines brown sugar and Edinburgh rock with oak tannins, sandalwood and clove.

Bottle noteA delicate nose, with barley sugar, puff candy and light herbal scents. Traces of chocolate and marzipanwith coconut and cherries in the taste at full strength. Water brings floral notes, sandalwood, acacia honey,banana crisps and cinnamon. Elusive and elegant.

Bottle noteRaw dough and coal smuts, soon joined by light antiseptic notes and buttery croissants, then bread andbutter pudding with struck matches when water is added. A sweet, treacle taste, with charred toast spreadwith salty butter.

Bottle noteSalty, dry and earthy with mushrooms, raisins, leather, soy sauce, matchboxes and sandpaper while meatyspicy notes emerged on the palate. In dilution it was sweeter and stickier with dates and prunes while itwas hot, dry and tannic to taste.

Bottle noteThe nose combines bacon and roast parsnips with croissants, marmalade and toffee – also embers,tobacco and old wardrobes; later leather and coffee. The palate is rich, sweet and spicy – maple syrup,treacle, Jamaican Christmas cake, sticky toffee pudding and espresso.

Bottle noteCreamy vanilla custard/crème brulee, then crystalline sugar in espresso coffee, while the custard is joinedby rhubarb and plum crumble. Water raises gunpowder, scorched fruitcake and buttery caramelised sugar.Sweet, tannic and spicy to taste.

Bottle noteThe nose has both light (nutty chocolate, apples, lemons) and shade (plastic, mothballed drawers). Thepalate though, has only sweetness and light – coconut, passion-fruit, maple syrup. Water brings fruit andboiled sweets to the nose; butterscotch and caramel to the palate.

Bottle noteClean and fresh, with saddle soap and leather polish to start, followed by mouth-wash, pine needles, tonicwater and nutty chocolate. Minty and slightly salty to taste, with caramel and more chocolate.

Bottle noteThe nose offers grass, herbs, flowers, creosote, soft tar, lemon sponge, vanilla, pepper and Easter eggs;with water green grapes, melted ice-cream and scorched boiler-suits. The palate is straightforward, sweetand spicy – milk chocolate, white pepper, plum jam and MDF furniture.

Bottle noteWith aromas of tinned peaches, iced cinnamon buns, leather, spearmint, plums, nutmeg, saddles, grass,cocoa and tastes of green ginger, angelica, blackcurrant sorbet, dark chocolate, fresh mint, cherries, andtarragon this is calming yet hot & lively. Water is essential.

Bottle noteThe friendly nose invites you in with candied pineapple, gorse, honey, fudge and vanilla, but also hasintriguing pepper and leather depths. The palate is penetratingly hot, with viscous textures and flavours oftoffee, pepper, ginger, dry grass and citrus.

Bottle noteDark scents – date loaf, rum truffles, ginger cake and menthol cigarettes - and a bitter-sweet taste, withburnt toffee, dark chocolate and mint-cake. Leather and candlewax with water; a smooth texture and sweettaste (Caramac, Pecan pie, treacle tart) and camphor in the finish.

Bottle noteNeat on nose vanilla with lemon barley. To taste; strong peppermint sweets and old mud covered tractor.Then, there was lapsang souchong tea and chilli chocolate. With water extinguished fire in heather coveredfield with wild garlic on the nose. On mouth; smoked bacon, and dusty boiled lemon sweets.

Bottle noteHazel nuts, with honeysuckle, jasmine and unlit cigarettes; sweet and creamy in the mouth. Waterintroduces rose petals, coconut and a wisp of smoke, and tinned peaches in the silky taste.
