Recommended for use with the ROTOR HDA, Singer PlusPlates have increased internal dimensions to allow pinning at high densities with reduced artefacts caused by agar meniscus.

Long-pin RePads support liquid-to-liquid and liquid-to-agar pinning to and from 96 and 384 well microtitre and agar plates. Short-pin RePads support agar-to-agar pinning at densities 96, 384, 768, 1536, 3072 and 6144.

Great Savings - Higher densities means fewer plates and fewer pin pads.

Singer RePads are disposable plastic pads of pins that come in sterilised packs. Unique, disposable RePads replace conventional pin-heads, meaning no more washing and incredible pinning speeds!

The Stinger is our new automated single colony picker. Expanding the functionality of the ROTOR HDA robot, The Stinger enables the re-arraying of specific individual colonies of interest from high-density agar plates and multi-well dishes.

The Stinger uses cartridges of 384 re-usable, stainless steel pins to sample yeast, other fungi, bacteria or algae from colonies grown on solid agar or in liquid culture. The Stinger picks and spots user-specified colonies from high-density arrays onto solid agars at densities of 96, 192, 384, 768 and 1536. It also spots colonies into liquid culture at 96 and 384 density.

The Automatic Plate Pourer is a small benchtop instrument for pouring batches of up to 50 liquid media plates. The agar poured is flat, bubble free and of a consistent volume. Flat agar is essential for downstream processing of microbial colonies e.g. fast, efficient yeast tetrad dissection and highly reproducible robotic pinning of large arrays of colonies.It can pour a huge range of plate types and comes equipped with a germicidal UV lamp to maintain sterility.

Users load the desired number of plates into the Automatic Plate Pourer along with an appropriate volume of liquid media, press the start button, then walk away! The instrument will automatically detect the type of plates, select the correct media volume and other pouring parameters. It then pours media into the plates and alerts the user when the job is done. The pouring parameters can be adjusted at any time through the easy-to-operate touchscreen.
