CC+ was designed to increase dual enrollment opportunities for students to earn college and high school credits at the same time.
The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options for Bellbrook students.
As required by law, Bellbrook Sugarcreek Schools will bear all tuition costs for classes taken through public universities. Students choosing to enroll in a participating private college or university may incur limited costs.

Can earn up to 30 college credit hours per academic year.
No more than 120 college credit hours while in the program.

If student takes more than 30 credit hours, student has option to drop or pay for class at the standard college rate plus cost of books for the additional credit hours.
Must work with High School Counselor and College Academic Advisor to complete CCP & H.S. schedule. Student will be held financially responsible if signed up for a
non-allowable course.
CCP Course Eligibility
Must complete all high school graduation required courses.
Students will not be given credit for college courses at the remedial level of college.
Students must complete End of Course exams for English, math, and science
No credit is awarded for a failed course.
If the failed course is a requirement for high school graduation, it must be retaken and completed before graduation.
Financial responsibility belongs to the student and his/her parents in the case of failure or withdrawal.
Underperforming Students - Student is placed on CCPprobation when: Has earned lower than a cumulative 2.0 GPA in college
courses or withdraws from two or more courses in same term
All advanced standing programs will be weighted the same within subject area.
BHS transcripts show both a weighted and non weighted GPA. The 4.0 scale is used for honor roll and NHS eligibility.
In order to determine valedictorian, students will receive add-on quality points of .05 for every AP and/or College Credit Plus class

Course
Convert college credit as follows:
3 or more semester hour college course = 1 credit at BHS.
2 semester hour college course = 0.66 credits at BHS.
1 semester hour college course= 0.33 credits at BHS.
If a student attends the same college after high school graduation, full credit is transferred.
Students should check transfer policies of the college(s) of interest. www.transferology.com

Credit is not guaranteed at out of state public colleges and private universities. Some colleges do not accept CCP credits taught by BHS
instructors.

CCP students are allowed to participate in all
Bellbrook High School activities.
Ohio High School Athletic Association and
NCAA rules govern eligibility. Students must
meet athletic eligibility requirements to
participate.

A CCP Pathway is a grouping of college

Sign & return INTENT TO PARTICIPATE (by April 1)Option 1: Off Campus Complete online application Bring School Authorization Form to
Mrs. Scohy (if required) or ask to send transcript
Once you are accepted it is your responsibility to verify individual college procedures, requirements and deadlines (ex. schedule placement test, attend orientation, schedule classes)
Schedule your classes and complete authorization form with Mrs. Scohy to complete your schedule at BHS
Option 2: At BHS Complete online application Once you are accepted you may
have to take a placement test if you don’t have a qualifying ACT test score
Registration will be finalized in August
