A Touch Simpler

We are pleased to report that we had a very successful launch of the Simrad NSS range of MFD’s at the Real Club Nautico De Palma (EMEA) on 23rd and 24th March 2011

We invited 40 journalists from across EMEA and also 8 leading journalists from the US to attend the launch event over two days. We had 10 boats fitted with a varying compliment of Simrad products including NSS, NSE, NSO, Autopilots, BSM-2 with CHIRP transducer (R209LH), StructureScan™, Broadband Radar™, 6KW Digital Radar, SonicHub™, VHF etc

Each journalist had 4 x 1½ hour sessions to try the equipment on the water, in real life (rather than on a booth at a boat show). Prior to the journalists arriving we had already shown the equipment onboard to 25 Boat Builders on 22nd / 23rd March, along with 10 Distributors giving an impressive total of 83 people testing our products on the water over the course of 3 days

We received fantastic feedback over the week from Boatbuilders, Press, Distributors, our own Staff on just how impressive the new NSS range is and moreover how it really completes the Simrad Family and allows us to really attack the market. We’re sure you will see some great articles generated in the magazines, websites, blogs etc over the coming months. Couple that with the launch material generated and we’re 100% sure that we should see significant interest and strong orders for all Simrad products, particularly the Simrad NSS

As we write this, we are carrying out a professional photoshoot of the products fitted to the boats along with new lifestyle imagery, all of which will be available on the Mediabank shortly
