Simplex TX SeriesA new generation of indexing rotary tables
Tournes, 2015
A TÜNKERS Group Company
In conventional rotary tables, the required motion profile with high acceleration,
dynamic braking and backlash-free dwell period is integrated into the timing roller in
the form of a milled curve .
In modern flex rotary tables with servo drive, the roller, which still exists, has a constant
incline and acts as an additional reduction gear stage.
The step roller has become obsolete!
No timing roller is needed in the rotary table

Basic structure – SOPAP Simplex rotary table series
The rotary table design without a roller consists in only 3 parts for the most basic
version:
1. Servo gear motor
2. Bearing
3. Pinion or toothed belt3

TXIV special design– rotary table "placed on its head"
9
TXIV – Motor positioning on the turntable
- Ring gear permanently mounted on base plate
- Motor with drive unit drives the turntable
- Motor power supply via integrated cable drag
chain
- Only reverse operation is possible
- Max. 360 °
Advantages:
- Extremely flat turntable (H ≈ 100 mm)
- Device or installation may be positioned almost
at ground level
Ring gear fixedly
mounted on base
plate
