Lie on your back with your legs straight and lift them about 15cm off the floor. Draw your right knee in towards your chest as close as possible, keeping your left leg extended. Straighten your right leg, simultaneously drawing your left knee into your chest. This is one rep. Lie on your back with your legs bent and your feet flat on the floor. Place your fingertips on your thighs. This is your start position. Keeping your arms straight, steadily sit up to touch the top of your knees and then lie back down to complete one rep. Remember to keep your feet and knees together throughout the move. The Waist Cincher This targets your obliques - the muscles that run down either side of your torso - to give you a cinched-in waist. Lie on your back with your arms stretched out. Place a Swiss ball between your bent knees and lift your legs off the floor. Squeeze the ball between your knees. Slowly lower your knees to one side, and return to the centre, then lower to the other side and return to the centre. This is one rep. Remember to keep gently squeezing the ball.     The Torso Flattener

    Lie on your back holding a dumbbell in both hands with your arms straight, pointing towards the ceiling, and your legs bent with your feet flat on the floor. Sit up as far as you can, keeping your arms pointing straight up throughout.Lie back down under control and repeat.

    The Love-Handle Banisher

    Another great way of getting rid of love handles, as it strengthens the muscles at the sides of your torso.

    Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor.Raise your shoulders off the floor and, gently bending at the waist, touch your right ankle with your right hand, keeping your back as flat as possible.Return to the centre and repeat with your left hand to complete one rep.

    Total Tummy Toner The Total Tummy Toner

    This targets not only the muscles along the full length of your tummy, but also the tops of your thighs.

    Start on the floor in the press-up position, hands underneath your shoulders.Draw your left knee up towards your right shoulder as far as you can.Return to the start and repeat with the other leg. This is one rep.

    I have been exercising this way for some years and IT WORKS. I suffered two attacks of cancer over the past few years, one was the killer small cell lung cancer, the treatment especially chemo steroids, put on tons of fat and bulk. Using this plan and diet, I have lost seven stone of that flab over nine months. By the way, the cancer has gone completely, a simple miracle and nothing to do with exercise. I am in my mid sixties and found that determination and positive attitude, is the keynote. Keep it up, no matter what your style or method, there is simply no fast track. Avoid such claims, you should be in it for the long haul. Hard, horrid and never ending WORK. Worth it though-in the long term.

    this country is obsessed with image..i noticed that after returning from holiday. It's only england who care about image so much because there are so many vain people here..just remember vanity is a sin so dont love yourself too much otherwise you might just end up with a disfigurement in your next life.

    simple walk, more an girls dont waste your hubbys hard earned cash on gyms, run, home from work... oh an the biggest vice is what you honey's put in your mouth, at the end of the day, an thats a fact, after all there were no fat people in belsen, or any other camps, think b4 you eat b4 you drive.. av 'a nice day ya'll...

    To Burn body fat you must consume less calories than your daily metabolic rate,also atleast 20 -40 mins cardio preferbly at jogging or a sport that keeps your heartbeat elevated the full time,thease excercises shown will help but if you want to get in shape,cut out sugar and eat 6 small meals a day which include protein and veg or salad and you will see the weight drop off in a matter of weeks

    Get real, do you really think the author of this article cares if it works, it's probably someone else's work anyway, don't waste your time commenting on it, no one cares and the author certainly doesn't he/she has already been paid and has moved onto the next piece of shizzle....

    targetted weight loss doesnt work you idiots. You have to do full cardio in order to burn fat, and it burns off the whole body. Doing sit-ups wont do squat, unless you do a ridiculous amount.
