Simple QR Code Stamps This PDF is a QR Code stamp file containing three QR Code stamps. Installation instructions are provided on the next page. Each stamp has a single barcode field that covers the entire stamp surface (Figure 1). The amount of data encoded by the QR Code is limited by the size of the barcode field. All the stamps here are limited to 75 characters. To change this limit, resize both the stamp page and the barcode field covering the page. Figure 1 – QR (Quick Response) Barcode, 27 characters Stamp #1: The first stamp has a static text value that is hard-coded into the value calculation for the barcode field. This value is changed by editing the value calculation on the Properties Dialog for the barcode field.(Figure 2). Figure 2 – A hard coded QR Code value is easy to setup. Stamp #2: The second stamp acquires its QR Code value from the “baseURL” property of the document being stamped. This “baseURL” property is set on the “Advanced” tab of the Document Properties dialog (Figure 3). This is an example of acquiring dynamic stamp data from the target document. The script can be modified to automatically acquire the data in any number of ways. Figure 3 – Any document property that can be accessed through JavaScript can be a data source for a dynamic stamp Copyright © 2011 by WindJack Solutions, Inc. www.pdfscripting.com
