The Lock

Locks can be provided pre-coded by Highfield, with each utility having its own unique code.

Utilities can choose to have one group code and one territory code for the entire organization or they can choose multiple territo-ry codes.

Locks can be re-programmed by Highfield, if a utili-ty’s organizational needs change or if they need to add or combine territories.

The “Handshake” When the key comes in contact with the lock, communication is ac-tivated through an elec-tronic “hand-shake.”

If the authorization code matches, after a button press, the key’s LED turns green and the lock opens.

When the LED flashes red, it means that the holder of the key is not authorized for that lock.

The key retains a library of times and dates, recording the last 1,000 events, including unauthorized attempts. Printed in USA 11/13
