Introduction

What is Dowsing? Dowsing is an art and a science that creates a bridge to the subconscious mind through the use of a pendulum or other instruments/tools. Dowsers are able to use that bridge to gain access to information not normally available to the waking consciousness. It has been said that dowsing is like mother’s intuition with a readout device1. You just need a pendulum and an intention to get started. In the video provided, I offer clear instructions on how to hold your pendulum and avoid mistakes most frequently made by beginners.

1) Hold out your right hand and holding

How to Intentionally Transform Energy

Intentionally transforming energy is easy. Using your focus and intention. Here are 5 ways to focus your dowsing.

1. Understanding the Dowsing Mode The “Dowsing Mode” is the place you come to when you are fully connected to yourself, your higher power and your dowsing system in order to receive clear information. Finding your dowsing mode involves stillness, the meditative quality you acquire when your brain is functioning in what is known as the alpha state. In order to reach this state, quiet your mind enough to slow down the brain waves, which creates a relaxed space with passive awareness. Some might call this a self-induced hypnotic state or as UltraMind ESP System, expert Jose Silva called it, “going to level.” Tips to Get into Your Dowsing Mode State of Mind:

• Turn off and remove distractions (cell phones, television, etc...)

• Invite Divine Guidance. • Sit in stillness in a quiet place for 5 minutes

or longer. • Follow the inhalation and exhalation of your breath. • Invite in and thank your dowsing system for being

present at this time. Use any ritual you like that will help you quiet your mind, and help you prepare yourself to receive information. You could chant, pray or count backwards from ten to one slowly. Note: Entering the dowsing mode will become second nature to you as you become a more proficient dowser.

2. The Permission Questions

Here is the simple permission questions used before any dowsing takes place. Why? Permissions is vitally important in achieving the correct response from your dowsing team. Permissions are used as a safety net. We suggest a few guidelines for establishing whether dowsing is appropriate and safe for you. This is done through the use of four specific permission questions. These criteria should be firmly established before any dowsing work is done.

Can I? Do I have the ability and understanding to do the work? Does my inner self understand all the words phrases, sentences and complete context of my questions? Yes or No May I? Do I have permission from the subject /or proper authority. (person you are working with)? Yes or No Note: Without the subject’s permission, your efforts would be considered an invasion of privacy and possibly harmful to yourself. Should I? Do I have permission from source (My Higher Power / God / Great Spirit)? Yes or No Note: There is a bigger picture, circumstances you are not aware of. Therefore you may not have permission from source to proceed. Bonus Question: Is there any reason why I should not dowse this right now? Yes or No Note: There could be unknown factors that would make doing the work non-beneficial for you or the subject. Are you hungry, thirsty, tired, etc… As a beginner, don’t skip any of these questions, even if they feel a little redundant to you. If the answer to any of these questions is not the appropriate answer for proceeding, postpone your dowsing to another time or let it go completely.

3. Tips for Successful Dowsing

Here is a list of tips that will help you establish a deeper rapport with your dowsing system: 1. Before you begin dowsing, and after

you are in dowsing mode, ask for Divine Guidance.

2. Be grateful: Gratitude sets a nice tone for you and your system to work together.

3. Hold the pendulum away from your body—if it is too close, your body’s energy field will interfere with your answers.

4. Ask your questions out loud: This increases your clarity and focus.

5. Dowse yourself first: Use the energy clearing protocols on yourself before you dowse anything or anyone else.

6. Drink water: Dehydration can interfere with your dowsing accuracy.

7. In the beginning, it is helpful to write down the name of your subject—even if it is you—and your question. This practice will also help you stay focused.

When performing a dowsing protocol, try following these steps: 1. If necessary, nudge your pendulum a bit to get started. 2. Be aware of your posture. A straight spine may help in the receiving of clear

information. 3. Tell your pendulum to go all the way to the exact numbers, or to give you a complete

“yes” and “no”. You are letting your system know that you need clear, unambiguous results.

4. Centering and Setting Intention Begin with a Centering Prayer and Intention Declaration. Here is one you may use or make up your own. Centering: “Mother-Father-God-Source, please help me to form my questions with clarity, guide my hands and prepare my mind, enhance my sensitivity, bless my purpose for only the highest good, that I may be in service to the magnificent All. I give you thanks and gratitude for the service provided through me by You. Om, Peace, Amen.” Intention: “My dowsing is free of impacts, thoughts or thought forms of any living being with or without body, and any other interested parties. Thank You.” Note: Adapted from the ASD Dowsing Basic School as taught by Ed Stillman 2009

5. Establishing Time, Subject, Question

There is another set of preliminary questions that come before you actually begin to dowse for information. These three questions set the parameters of the information you are seeking. These three parameters are time, subject and question. Time: Generally, the time of the inquiry is now—right at this moment. It may seem obvious, but you must still explicitly state the time frame that you are asking about. This necessity arises because it is possible to project inquires back in time, such as asking about yesterday, or last week. Subject: This is the person, place, or thing that you are inquiring about: yourself, a pet, a family member, your home, your workplace, etc. It is recommended that you concentrate on yourself and your home in the beginning of your practice. This will help you develop confidence and a stronger bond with your dowsing system. Question: This is the thing you want to know; the question you want answered. When you ask the question, it is recommended that you verify again the time and the subject, as this will help you keep your focus when dowsing.

Provides beneficial minerals 4. Provides medium to high cellular energy conversion 5. Causes very low to no allergies 6. Energizes the body for vibrant health

Life Force Depleting Criteria 1. Poor nourishment, weakens brain and body function 2. Detrimental interaction with your physiology, lowers metabolism 3. Contains harmful bacteria, viruses, pesticides, insecticides 4. Detrimental minerals: including but not limited to mercury and aluminum 5. Causes medium to very high allergy of the nervous system 6. Causes detrimental changes to your health and energy level

How to Use the Dowsing Chart

Hold the pendulum still with the point at the bottom center. As you ask your questions, the pendulum will swing back and forth and it will point to a number on the chart. You will hold the food to dowse your compatibility with that food. Notice the Negatives are on the left and the Positives are on the right. The center is Neutral. +100% is perfect. 0% (top of chart at ‘yes’) will do me no harm (Neutral). Example: Keeping in mind the above criteria. What is the % of life force for this lemon for my optimal physical health and wellbeing? Answer: +30% (Beneficial)

List your potential practitioners on a piece of paper and dowse for each one using the % chart below. Take note of each practitioner’s score next to their name. Ask: How beneficial is s/he to me? How beneficial am I to her/him? Using the ½ circle percentage % chart dowse score (0 to +100%) them to me AND score (0 to +100%) me to them. You will want a score as close to +100 as possible.
