Preface

This document, comprises of Simple Design Project Prototyping.Each and every step towards prototyping of a designed product, Its material and production attributes are the core ingredients of this document.The subject, Simple Design Project Prototyping began with the execution of the final design laid during the Simple Design Project module.The prototype that I ended with at the end of ths prototyping module is put up at the end of this document.

Mockup

The mockup is prepared using Epoxy Resin M Seal. Being ac-curate upto 75 percent, this mochup provides a pattern for the casting of the final prototype.

The M Seal mock up has been used as a pattern for the alu-minium casting of the prototype. The casted out metal piece is a crude structure which need lots of finishing processes to be carried on it. The structure obtained after the finishing processes like, grinding and buffins is as shown below.

The next step after the basic finishing and metal removing pro-cesses being conducted on the crude casted structure, the brazing was to be done of the miniature, scaled down shelves.The images of the brazed shelves is as shown below.

The Final production of the product id targeted to be done with sheet metal. And rugged look to be incorporated.
