Simon Lee has been working in Recruitment since 2000. He joined Solution at the start of 2013 to work alongside Chris Murphy on the Building Services Consultancy department working mainly on permanent placements within this sector.

He brings with him a wealth of knowledge across several Engineering industries which include Mechanical, Electrical, Fire & Electronic Security Systems.

In his spare time Simon is a proud father to 2 young girls and also has a deep passion for playing Music. This hobby has given him the opportunity to play his Bass guitar at many venues and festivals across Europe entertaining many of headbanging rock fans.

Solution - Search Consultant - 2013 to Present I joined Solution to work alongside well-established Recruiter Chris Murphy in their Hertfordshire based head office.

My primary role is to place Permanent Engineering candidates within the M&E Building Services Consultancy sector. I recruit at all levels, from newly qualified Graduates up to Board Director Level.Other areas I speacialise within (apart from Mechanical & Electrical) include Public Heath, Fire, Security Systems and CAD Draughting / Co-ordination. Myself and Chris work very closely together as a strong team, ensuring that all applicants who register with Solution are provided with the best possible options be it either on a contract or permanent basis.

HCL Healthcare Group – (Loughton, Essex) - Recruitment Consultant - Feb 2009 – Oct 2012

HCL Healthcare has acquired and owns over 15 specialist Healthcare recruitment companies across the world and is now the biggest specialist Healthcare Recruitment Company in the UK. The Essex office currently employs around 80 members of staff.

I rejoined my former company to head up the Audiology department and to focus mainly on short and long term contract placements within the NHS. Audiology is a desk the company had tried to develop previously but with very little success until I was appointed.

Anders Elite – (Fenchurch Street, London) - Managing Recruitment Consultant - Jan 2007 – Jan 2009

AE was one of the top 3 construction Recruitment companies in the UK that had 13 offices world-wide and was owned by one of the world’s largest recruitment organisaions, CDI USA. The London office employed over 100 permanent members of staff. I joined the London office at senior level of Managing Consultant where my main objective was to build up a new department and recruit a team to cover the sector of M&E Building Services in London and the South East. This was a sector that the London office had never previously worked in. In my second year I started to recruit Senior M&E Staff to work in various countries in the Middle East.

Security Personnel UK Limited – (Romford) - Recruitment Consultant / Senior RC - Sept 2000 - Dec 2006

S.P.U.K was one of the first ever Recruitment companies solely dedicated to the Electronic Fire and Security industry. When I joined, the company employed 7 full time members of staff. In my 5 years there I played an integral part in helping to grow the company up to 14 members of staff and it is now one of the most recognised agencies in its sector. I joined as a trainee recruitment consultant working in the engineering department. The company was split into two divisions, the other recruiting industry sales professionals. After 2 years and as the team expanded, I became the 2nd most experienced person in the consulting team and in the manager’s absence I would oversee the running of the company / departments.
