• M a t e r i a l D e s c r i p t i o n SilentFX™ is a noise-reducing gypsum board specifically designed for systems requiring high Sound Transmission Control (STC) ratings where acoustic management is needed.Green Glue®, applied between two specially formulated gypsum boards, is a viscoelastic polymer that dampens sound energy and significantly improves sound attenuation through walls and ceilings.SilentFX™ gypsum board is enclosed in a 100% recycled moisture and mold resistant face and back paper. As a result of the inclusion of M2Tech® technology, SilentFX™ also contributes to indoor air quality by providing enhanced moisture and mold resistance.
