Silent Falcon Description
Silent Falcon is highly portable and fits into a standard pelican case. It accommodates three interchangeable wing sizes that all have thin film photo voltaic (TFPV) solar panel integrated in the wings to increase or decrease endurance (up to 12 hours). It is easily deployed and operated by a two man crew. The system is extremely quiet with a very low thermal signature, which allows it to avoid detection. It’s virtually silent up to 200 feet AGL.SF requires little auxiliary equipment for launch or recovery operations. The SF system contain:
- three wing size options: 2.6, 3.4, 5.2 M; ~ 25 Ibs; nose to tail ~ 72”- customer specified sensor- - a Unified Ground Control System (mission controller)- spare parts- field maintenance instructions

1. Gimbal - This is a swiveling point able Gimbal system containing a color camera
and a thermal infrared camera. The main application is observation.
2. Color Photogrammetric camera - A small format photogrammetric camera system is
available that is well suited to doing small area photogrammetry projects as well as corridors.
It can quickly produce high accuracy orthophotos as well as a variety of 3-D products.
3. Multispectral camera - This system is suited for vegetation analysis. It is a four band
System. This system is well suited to producing NDVI, SAVI, canopy segmentation and NIR/green ratios.
4. Hyperspectral Sensor - This system operates in the 400-900 nm range and is well suited f
or the detection of specific vegetation types.
5. LIDAR – Q3 system –it has an effective range of 350 meters and an accuracy of 25 mm.
The maximum effective measurement rate is 600kHz.
6. MID IR sensor - MWIR OEM cores can be configured with fixed or continuous zoom optics,
and can be adapted to support custom lens designs. Optics can be controlled through a single interface.
