Application Method /Tools

GeneralRemarks:

Drillingofholewithanelectricdrilltothediameteranddepthrequired.Drillholediametermustbeinaccordancewithanchorsize.

Thedrillholemustbecleanedwithablowpumporbycompressedair,startingfromthebottomofthehole.(atleast2x)Important:useoil-freecompressors!

Thedrillholemustbethoroughlycleanedwiththespecialsteel brush (brush at least 2x). The diameter of the brush must belargerthanthediameterofthedrillhole.

Thedrillholemustbecleanedwithablowpumporbycompressedair,startingfromthebottomofthehole.(atleast2x)Important:useoil-freecompressors!

Pump approx. twice until both parts come out uniformly. Do notusethismaterial.Releasethegunpressureandcleanthecartridgeopeningwithacloth.

Injecttheadhesiveintothehole,startingfromthebottom,while slowly drawing back the static mixer.In any case avoid entrappingair.For deep holes extension tubing can be used.

Insert the anchor with a rotary motion into the filled drill hole. Someadhesivemustcomeoutofthehole.Important:theanchormustbeplacedwithintheopentime.

Thedrillholemustbecleanedwithablowpumporbycompressedair,startingfromthebottomofthehole.(atleast2x)Important:useoil-freecompressors!

Thedrillholemustbethoroughlycleanedwiththespecialsteel brush (brush at least 2x). The diameter of the brush must belargerthanthediameterofthedrillhole.

Duringtheresinhardeningtimetheanchormustnotbemovedorloaded.WashtoolsimmediatelywithSika®ColmaCleaner.Washhandsandskinthoroughlywithwarmsoapwater.

ImportantNote:Anchorsinhollowblocks:Do use Sika AnchorFix®-1forhollowblocks.

Cleaning of Tools CleanandtoolsandapplicationequipmentwithSika®ColmaCleanerimmediatelyafteruse.Hardened/curedmaterialcanonlybemechanicallyremoved.
