After breakfast a road transfer will bring you to the airport for your light aircraft flight to the Sabi Sand, part of Kruger Park where you stay at Londolozi Private Game Reserve, famous for its outstand-ing leopard and Big Five sightings.

After the morning game drive and breakfast a light aircraft trans-fer will bring you to Nelspruit Kruger Airport for your connecting commercial flight directly to Livingstone, Victoria Falls. Upon arri-val in Livingstone a representative will welcome you and a road transfer will bring you to The River Lodge.

The River Club’s well-appointed Edwardian house looks out over the Zambezi River, sporting a lounge, dining room, library and ve-randa, with manicured lawns on which meals are served. The ga-zebo and the summer house (with snooker room) are alternatives for private dining, while the infinity pool seems part of the great Zambezi itself. For the energetic, there is a gym, running track and tennis court.

VICTORIA FALLS

Situated just 18 km upstream from Victoria Falls, The River Club allows for in-depth and adventurous exploration of this Wonder. Livingstone, known as the “adventure capital” of Zambia, is also steeped in history. The Zambezi River is interspersed with vegetated islands, sandbanks and rocky rapids, and fringed with cool riparian forest – all a perfect sanctuary for hippo, crocodile and elephant, and prolific birdlife. The nearby Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park offers further wildlife viewing opportunities of buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and white rhino.

After breakfast a road transfer will bring you to Kasane Airport for your connecting light aircraft transfer to Mombo Camp on the ex-ceptionally wildlife rich Chief’s Island in Moremi, Okavango Delta in Botswana.

Lying on Chief’s Island, the largest landmass in the Okavango, Mombo Camp’s setting within an area steeped in nature’s riches is echoed in the camp itself: rich, opulently furnished lounge, bar and dining areas shaded by large trees as well as each individ-ual tented room all look out over a plain more often than not dot-ted with wildlife. A plunge pool, spa and gym all add to the sump-tuousness of the camp’s surrounds.

OKAVANGO DELTA BOTSWANA

Mombo Camp lies within the Moremi Game Reserve; its location and productive habitat mean that it offers arguably the best big game viewing in Botswana. Game drives uncover spectacular numbers of plains game such as zebra, red lechwe, impala, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, greater kudu, ele-phant and buffalo. Such wealth of prey means that predators are abundant, with especially high den-sities of lion, giggling clans of spotted hyaena and movie star-quality leopard.
