The 290 has a secure, dry riding 9'6" beam while the leading rival in this size range measures in at 8'10". In the engine room, twin stern drives pack a far more powerful punch than rival single engine offerings. Below decks, a side dinette table offers far more options and space than a v-berth dinette and a one-piece sliding door is heads and shoulders above a three-piece accordion door.

STEP THRU WINDSHIELD When it's time to handle dock lines, molded dash steps, a walk-thru windshield and raised stainless bow rails make deck access easy.

The most high-tech dash design in sport cruisers includes digital instrumentation, Power On illuminated rocker switches, a DC power plug and Dimmer controls. Remote control shown is only for Illustration. Compass, Mahogany Tilt Steering and Garmin 5208 GPS Navigation system are OPTIONAL.

HELM

DUAL HELM SEAT

The helm seat includes independent flip-up front cushions for stand-up, sit down or bolster operation. Note the molded storage area under the double wide seat.

COCKPIT WET BAR

The handy cockpit wet bar features a solid surface countertop, sink, pull-out sprayer faucet and a stainless grab handle. A removable ice chest stows underneath. SS drink holders surround the cockpit.

Face-to-face cockpit couches and a standard dinette are perfect at meal time. A standard filler cushion creates a huge multi-purpose sun lounge

COCKPIT DINETTE

The transom storage trunk, complete with a stainless steel hangar, has a drain to prevent water build up. Dockside connections are located inside out of the weather.

TRANSOM

FLOOR PLAN

• Most cruisers in this size range require you to wake up and disassemble the forward berth if you want to use the dinette to sip some early morning coffee. Not so on the 290 which is engineered with a huge berth and a separate dinette.

• Remarkably, given it's under-30-feet centerline, the cabin sleeps six which is the same as our 370 flagship.

MAIN CABIN

For a finishing touch, add optional accent pillows, shams and color-coordinated towels that match your cabin fabric selection.

DINETTE

Putting every inch of space to use, the comfortable four-person dinette has a drop in table for mealtime. A center filler cushion converts the area to an overnight berth for two. Overhead storage cabinets are handy for carry-ons.

The AC/DC refrigerator, microwave, sink and grab rail are all made of stainless steel. The 290 enjoys a competitive edge when it comes to countertop space and most boats in this size range don't even offer drawer storage in the galley. Note that the standard TV is mounted in the galley for widespread viewing.

CABIN GALLEY

CABIN HEAD The stand-up head features a shower curtain, wand faucet, sink, under counter storage and a stainless grab rail. A screened port adds ventilation. The VacuFlush porcelain head has a holding tank with level indicator and a custom built-in seat cover for changing clothes. A gray water system and macerator are optional.

The best-in-class aft cabin has comfortable overnight accommodations for two adults. A screened opening port provides added ventilation. A high quality flat screen TV/DVD is optional.
