The Weather Maker fabricates, constructs and installs architectural signage for visual identity, interpretative graphics and way finding scenarios. We can help you build a customised solution or construct to an existing specification. We specialise in corporate sign fit-outs, building and pylon signs.Our 3M Partner Status reflects our competency in working with an array of speciality films and substrates. This adds to our ample experience in the preparation and installation on a range of architectural window films, aluminium based cladding substrates, acrylics and extrusions.We work with the latest technologies such as LED’s for illuminated signage through to laser cutting for highly accurate 3D letters and graphics. To ensure longevity and quality we incorporate well established sign production methods including CNC profile cutting and automotive and 2 Pac spray painting.Adding to The Weather Maker’s superior architectural sign and project portfolio is a complete installation service. The Weather Maker manufactures commercial sign solutions at our workshop for timely delivery and superior quality of commercial signage applications. We produce and install general commercial building signage along with fleet signage and brand change signage rollouts.Our commercial signage includes reception signs, interchange signs and digital sign solutions. In addition we provide privacy and decorative films for glass, feature wall installations, directory and safety signage. Shorter term commercial signage includes promotional signage, event signage and temporary sign installations.

The Weather Maker caters to all aspects of retail and franchise signage including point of sale signage, visual merchandising displays and promotional signage.We produce and install common interior and exterior shopfront signage. Exterior elements include window graphics, facade and bulkhead signs, wall and awning signage. Inside the retail setting we supply and install wall and floor graphics, poster hanging systems and aisle signage.

The Weather Maker supplies a range self adhesive vinyl solutions, from coloured, reflective and frosted computer cut vinyl to decorative and speciality vinyl films. Our ‘state of the art’ vinyl cutter is able to contour cut complex vector graphics with precision.We can contour cut coloured off the shelf vinyl. Commonly supplied films beyond a vast range of standard colours include frosted, metallic, gold and silver leaf along with fluorescent films. In addition we have print and cut capabilities, meaning there is no limit to your vinyl graphic requirements.

The Weather Maker hosts an array of visual communication and environmental graphic manufacturing capabilities. It makes sense that we sometimes get asked to create something outside the scope of typical sign and print projects.We enjoy undertaking creative projects and invite our customers to discuss ‘something different.’ We keep up to date with new and different materials, substrates and creative manufacturing methods that increase our capability to construct sculptural, interpretive and artistically influenced designs.

At The Weather Maker we produce and install vehicle wraps to cars, vans, buses, trucks, boats, forklifts and aircrafts. We use the latest printable and coloured wrapping films to ensure a striking result to your mobile billboard. Vehicle wraps can be laminated to ensure longevity and value for money.We use quality materials for durability and longevity that will withstand the elements of weather and terrain, all with consideration of driver safety. We install vehicle wraps and graphics at our secure inner city workshop that hosts a dust free environment and caters to fleet installations. We also offer an onsite vehicle signage installation for larger applications and for your convenience.

The Weather Maker’s wide format printing capabilities boast full colour CMYK ink sets with additional colour pots for unique requirements. This allows us to match over 92% of PMS colours.With the addition of white ink technology, we can print on almost anything, including coloured and clear materials to create unique and innovative graphic displays.Our wide format printing produces striking results on an array of materials including outdoor banners, canvas, wallpaper and self adhesive vinyl. Our UV cured inks allow a fast turnaround and longevity with added print quality. Completing our wide format printing capabilities is an inbuilt contour cutting bed that allows us to print and cut your design to any shape.

Adding to The Weather Makers ensuite of production capabilities is CNC routing and laser profile cutting. Our profile cutting equipment is used to cut, route and engrave a range of materials used for a variety of sign and display assembly applications.Common profile cut materials include wood, veneers, aluminium, composites, acrylic, high density foams and eco-friendly panels. Our profile cutting machines help us to expertly deliver precise fabricated signs.

At The Weather Maker we provide a range of job finishing options that add to the longevity, durability and overall quality of your sign project. For this reason we host an array of print and fabricated sign finishing services including lamination, painting and block mounting, to name a few.Most of our sign projects come complete with UV protective lamination and anti-graffiti coatings.For painted projects we provide automotive spray painting that includes a range of patina and decorative paints for special finishes. Application specific coatings such as 2 Pac painting and powder coating can be organised.

Display Products

The Weather Maker has a catalogue of customisable off the shelf display products that include pull up banners, banner flags and poles, and exhibition displays. We print on, and customise each to suit your needs. We invite you to get in touch to discuss your exact requirements.In addition to our off the shelf display products we custom make display units in a wide variety of sizes, shapes and styles. The Weather Maker produces display products with printed fronts that have been specifically selected for durability.As a standard all of our displays are light, portable, easy to set up and dismantle. The Weather Maker display products come with a minimum 1 year warranty.

What sets the The Weather Maker apart is our complete sign installation service which usually makes up half the amount of time spent on any significant sign project. In addition to our onsite and offsite sign installations, The Weather Maker organises engineering and council approval along with traffic control and access hire if required.The Weather Maker is compliant with current safety procedures and is able to supply site documentation to ensure any sign installation is undertaken in accordance with the applicable regulations. This documentation includes the supply of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MDSA) when requested.Our installers are experienced across a wide range of projects and various fixing, finishing and fixture methods. Most of all we pride ourselves on attention to detail to ensure your sign project looks fantastic at the final stage.
