Made of environmentally friendly, impact-proof poly-

styrol, this shrink-on and snap-on caps are available

ex-stock in 16 different colours, and can be supplied

with an individual single-colour imprint on request.

Further it is possible to imprint the date of filling or

the minimum durability date by inkjet procedure.

In addition to producing plastic articles, atka has its own special machine construction department. We come up

with and build special custom machines for industry. This is where we’ve got high-powered capacities all over

the world.

Cappers and capper shrinkers are used for sealing such things as beer barrels with SIGL shrinking caps made of

With the Capper A2000, SIGL shrink-caps or snap-on caps can be positioned quickly and reliably on almost all

fitting systems commonly used in the industry, ensuring that the keg is securely protected against tampering (for

shrinkcaps in combination with an automatic shrink-capper type S600 or S1200).

The caps are transported from the storage bin to the sorting drum. An integral sensor system transports the caps

in the correct position into the feed chute under quantity control. As the keg travels through, the caps (shrink-

caps or snap-on caps) are automatically picked from the chute.

The mobile feed chute automatically compensates for any height differences in the kegs.The capper is designed

for mixed Operation and sets itself for different caps and keg sizes.

Capacity: 2.000 kegs/hour

Optional: can also be used for the capping of slim kegs.

With its capacity of up to 650 kegs per hour, the au-

tomatic shrink-capper S600 is the ideal machine for

smaller and medium filling tasks. SIGL shrink-caps can

be quickly and easily shrink-fitted to flat or bayonet

fittings, and in this way guarantee that the beer is

safely protected against tampering.

The keg travels by conveyor into the shrink-fitting

unit, which automatically detects the keg height and

moves to the fitting position. 4 hot air nozzles ensu-

re a rapid shrinkfitting process. The horizontal nozzle

displacement enables the detection of different keg

diameters.

Capacity: 650 kegs/hour

Optional: can also be used for the capping of slim kegs.

SIGL automatic Shrink-capper type S 600

The automatic shrink-capper S1200 is equipped with a

mobile shrink-fitting head, which moves along in line with

the keg on the conveyor during the shrink-fitting process.

With its capacity of up to 1.200 kegs per, hour, the S1200

is the ideal piece of equipment for large breweries.

In combination with SIGL shrink-fitting caps for all fitting

systems common in the industry, this provides maximum

performance with top qualityforthe closure of kegs. De-

spite its high performance, the S1200 comes with com-

pact dimensions, and can therefore be integrated easily

into existing filling systems. The keg travels by conveyor

to the inlet of the machine. After passing a light barrier,

the shrink head moves automatically over the keg into the

shrink position.

The keg stopper doors open and the shrink head travels

in synchronisation with the keg on the outlet line, where

the shrinking process is completed. Any required conveyor

speed setting can be programmed. The automatic shrink-

capper type S1200 is designed for mixed operation and

sets itself for different caps and different keg sizes.

The compact Shrink-capper and -fitter AS500 combines the functions of placement and shrink-fitting of SIGL

shrink-caps in a single machine and in the smallest space possible. The caps are first transported from the storage

bin to the sorting drum. A vibrator then transports the caps in the correct Position into the feed chute under elec-

tronic quantity control. As the keg travels through, the caps are automatically picked and placed onto the fitting.

The keg is then transported to the shrink-fitting station where it is centred. The shrinkhead with automatic height

detection shrinks the SIGL shrink-cap around the fitting under time- and temperature control, ensuring the qua-

lity closure of the keg. The Shrink-capper and -fitter AS500 is designed for mixed operation and sets itself to the

relevant keg size.

Capacity: 500 kegs/hour

Optional: can also be used for the capping of slim kegs.

The manual Shrink-capper HSG3 is the ideal piece of equipment for smaller and medium-sized breweries which

do not operate continual filling of beer into kegs. In combination with SIGL shrinkfitting caps for all fitting sys-

tems common in the industry, this provides optimum product reliability even for smaller production quantities,

and offers a cost-effective alternative to the conventional snap-cap. Thanks to the adjustable centring aid, the

machine can be used for all known keg sizes, including slim kegs.

You can use the AK400 capper to place both snap caps for triangular fittings or key kegs (also as snap caps for

flat fitting on barrels of varying diameters.

Caps are usually moved from the storage bunker into the classifying drum. Then, air pressure is used to move the

caps into the feed rail in the correct position using lectronic quantity monitoring.

The barrel is centred with a parallel gripper for placing the cap. Finally, the cap is automatically passed onto the

placing head, positioned on the fitting and placed.
