Technical Information

Environmental impacts and sustainabilityAs a Scandinavian producer, we take environmental and ecological issues seriously. All the components of our windows and doors are made from sustainable resources and are completely recyclable, guaranteeing you an environmentally-friendly product. Our energy comes from renewable hydro-electricity, we have full Chain of Custody and only use FSC® or PEFC® certified timber from sustainably managed sources.

ConstructionDefect-free laminated and finger-jointed slow growth Nordic pine gives maximum stability and strength to the component parts. Windows and doors are made to the highest standards incorporating the latest air circulation and water drainage techniques. All timber components are pressure treated to provide an extended life, using the latest, most environmentally-friendly processes.

IronmongeryIpa 85 or 170 degree easy clean hinge system. Concealed automatic engaging restrictor. Sash weights up to 45 kg. The window sash is secured in place with a security espagnolette shoot-bolt, hinge security locking plates and cranked locking handle.

GlazingA wide range of glass solutions is available. The NEXGEN range has been developed to meet the future requirements for Code for Sustainable Homes and Passive House standards. This includes technical changes to materials and profiles, as well as new warm edge technology for glazing spacer bars and third generation low emissivity coatings to give superior insulation properties.
