Flexibility is given pride of place in the 8MT cubicle system. You only order what you really need! And precisely that is what will be delivered – no matter whether you have ordered an empty or complete cubicle or fully equipped cubicle groups. Customized delivery

Our control cubicles are delivered exactly as you wish: in single parts or ready-mounted - with base, swing frame, side walls, and, and, and … Every required degree of protection

All our cubicles can be ordered in any required degree of protection, e.g. in IP30, IP 40, IP 41 or IP 54. It is similarly no problem to upgrade your cubicle to a higher degree of protection later.

Up to and including degree of protection IP41, all cubicles can be ordered with or without ventilation.

The color sets the tone Your cubicle will be delivered in any standard RAL color within the standard delivery time, even multicolored and - upon request - in your favorite color. Individual details

Customized cutouts, e.g. for measuring instruments and control elements, vent slots, gills or windows, are delivered with no delay to the delivery time. Stainless

Rust protection is a top priority for our cubicles:

The frames are Sendzimir-galvanized, and the enclosure parts are powder-coated.

Well packed on pallets

Our cubicles and cubicle groups are generally delivered on wooden pallets – this facilitates transport and increases the interest of accident prevention.

Heavy metal

Our system cubicles are suitable for heavy installations up to 1,000 kg. Ease of assembly

Direct fastening devices on the frame of the SICUBE 8MT provide for short assembly times.

The hole matrix of the frame of the SICUBE 8MT is 25 mm.

Installation parts with grooving screws can be fastened here. No nuts, washers, lock washer or the like are required! EMC compliant

The galvanized frame renders the 8MT compliant with the EMC requirements.

Safe through grounding concept Thanks to the use of grooved screws, all enclosure and add-on parts are integrated into the PE conductor circuit, i.e. no additional grounding measures are required. Another advantage: No grounding strap is needed thanks to the hinged grounding. Environment-friendly

With all these advantages, we always devote special attention to environmental protection. For example, we use only environment-friendly paints which are solvent-free, lead-free and free of heavy metals.

Powder recover in connection with our powder coating goes without saying.

With the packaging, too, we reduce the use of materials to a minimum.

General information on SICUBE 8MT Flexibility is given pride of place in the 8MT cubicle system. Configuring your SICUBE 8MT is rendered considerably easier thanks to the further simplified modular system. Thanks to the great variety of mounting possibilities, mechanical components and electrical devices of all kinds, as well as all components of the metric and/or 19" technology, can be installed quickly and cost-effectively.

The 8MT is an excellent supplement to our existing cubicle systems 8MC and 8MF and can be used both in industry and craft trades. The 8MT can be used to build up both small compact and conventional-scale control systems. It is tailored especially to the following fields of application: - automation technology - drive technology - control engineering - electronics (19" modular

enclosure system) - power electronics - data information technology - network technology

In addition to the standard cubicles listed below, the SICUBE 8MT can also be customized according to your particular requirements. This will always be based on a frame as the central component.

Thanks to the modular design, in addition to the specified standard sizes, any other cubicle dimensions can be delivered without problems.

General information on the enclosure parts Doors

Outer and side panels

The doors are the full cubicle height; the clearance to the floor is 27.5 mm.

The door opening angle is 180° (135° when installed in a line). Thanks to the external hinges, the doors of the 8MT can be opened widely, allowing a grounding which makes the use of grounding strips unnecessary. The doors consist of:

�� 2 mm galvanized sheet steel

�� Single 25 mm door fold

�� Doors can be mounted either on the front or on the rear of the frame

�� Door hinges either on the right or on the left (the doors are not symmetrical in their design and can therefore neither be reversed, nor installed upside-down)

�� Various locking systems with or without espagnolette bar lock

�� External hinges not hidden; color: Siemens petrol

�� For the cubicle widths 600, 800 and 1000 mm, a single wing door will be installed.

�� Cubicle widths of 1,200 mm require a symmetrical double wing door.

�� For cubicles exceeding a width of 1,000 mm, asymmetrical doors can be ordered.

�� Cubicles providing the degrees of protection IP30, IP40 and IP41 are supplied with ventilation; IP40 and IP54 are not ventilated.

Asymmetrically divided double swing door In the standard variant, asymmetrically divided double swing doors possess one wing 600 mm in width and a second wing which corresponds to the remaining frame width. The lock is always installed in the narrower door half. (The photo above shows the variant with the lock on the right.) Further door divisions are possible. The doors can be mounted either on the front or on the rear. The resulting extra-charge can be determined upon request on the basis of the individual application and the required degree of protection upon request.

Plinth

Plinths increase the floor clearance and make the insertion and assigning of cables easier. The plinths are delivered without intermediate trim. End trim must be ordered for the overall installation. The plinth feet are made of 2.5 mm Sendzimir-galvanized steel sheet, and the plinth trim of 2mm powder-coated sheet steel. The load bearing capacity of the plinths is 500 kg. The plinths can also be ordered in individual parts.

Supporting bar Using the supporting bars, the cubicles can be divided into the appropriate planes. The supporting bars are made of 2.5 mm zinc sheet. The profile of the supporting bars takes the form of a "U" and is provided with 5.4 mm holes in a 25-mm hole matrix. The supporting bars are mounted directly on the cubicle frame or on other supporting bars.

Mounting plate including mounting bracket Mounting plates are used both for control cubicle installation and for building up devices (also outside the cubicle). Swing frame

Swing frame The swing frame consists of welded 19" profiles. The frame is mounted in the cubicle using a set of crossbars; mounting is possible either with right-hand or left-hand hinges (the hinge side can be changed by turning the frame). If the hinge position is not indicated when submitting the order, the installation is performed with left-hand hinges. Surface: galvanized The swing frame is installed at cubicle height. In the case of cubicle widths of 600 and 800 mm, the installation will be performed centrally.

19" fixed installation in cubicle heights

19" fixed installation 8MT system cubicles components designed in the 19" technology can be installed both over the entire cubicle height and in partial heights. For the system parts, 2.5 mm galvanized sheet steel was used to ensure optimum contacting. In the frame, the components can be installed in the 25 mm hole matrix. The individual components and 19" technology are mounted using self-tapping screws M6. Unless otherwise desired, the installation is performed centrally in the control cubicle and at the front-most position; with the double-wing variant, additionally at the rearmost position. 19" fixed installation in cubicle height, front position only The mounting sets consists of 4 mounting brackets and 2 profile bars (19" hole matrix) and the mounting accessories. 19" fixed installation in partial heights

19" fixed installation in partial heights To customize your 8MT system cubicle, various combinations can be configured. To this end, only a part of the cubicle is modified for the installation of 19" components. The 19" installations can be performed in any desired height. An offset both in the depth and in the height (25 mm hole matrix) is also possible. Depending on the arrangement, two or four supporting bars in cubicle width are required for the installation. The rows of holes in the crossbars are used for installation at the very top or very bottom. Thus, only two additional supporting bars are required (see page 2/15). The mounting brackets for the profile bars must be ordered in the cubicle depth. Four mounting brackets (1 set) and two profile bars (1 set) are required per installation. To make the ordering process easier, decide for yourself which variant you need, and then customize your cubicle with the appropriate components.

Control cubicle lamp with fluorescent tubular lamp The cubicle lamp is intended especially for use in switchgear and control cubicles. A completely new mounting technology using adhesive magnets kind makes all mounting work for installation on paneling parts unnecessary. A plinth outlet with grounding contact, as well as an ON/OFF switch are provided in the plastic casing. The cubicle lamp is supplied without cable.
