Next, we‘ll drive to Cisnădioara to visit the evangelic church and medieval fortress then wețll stop in Cristian - a village mostly inhabited by Landlers from Austria. Next we will drive over the sheperd villages Poplaca and Orlat to Sibiel in order to see the Glass Painted Icon Museum. After a walk in the village return to Sibiu.

Itinerary:We‘ll drive to Biertan, across the Transylvanian plateau. In Biertan, we‘ll see the medieval village which was the bishop seat for more than 300 years. Afterwards we go to the fortified church in Mălăncrav and then to Sighisoara, the only inhabited citadel in the South-Eastern Europe, part of the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage.

In a tour of the magnificent citadel we visit the main cultural objectives: the Clock Tower; the birth house of Vlad the Impaler; the Stag House. We will climb the 177 steps of the Covered Staircase, until we arrive at the Church on the Hill. We return to Sibiu at 18:00. We will leave you in front of the hotel in which you are checked in.

Itinerary: The tour starts from our office in Sibiu, Piata Mare no 12. The rental bikes will be picked-up from here. Our English speaking guide will first take you to the Sub Arini Park. Through the forest, we will bike towards our next destinations, the shepherd villages of Poplaca and Rasinari. In Rasinari we will also visit the Emil Cioran Memorial House. From Rasinari we bike over the hill to the Saxon village Cisnadioara, where we will visit the medieval fortress. Our last destination before returning to Sibiu in the late afternoon is ASTRA Open Air Museum.
