PHTT Summer Breakthe PHTT will be taking a summer break from our meetings. There are a lot of efforts currently ramping up around electronic case reporting (eCR) and in order to ensure we are able to complete that important work (while making best use of everyone’s time) we will be focusing efforts in those areas.

The eCR work has mainly been centered around The Public Health Community Platform (PHCP) coordinated by ASTHO, more information can be found at www.thePHCP.org or Marcus Rennick can be contacted for more information at [email protected]

While PHTT will not been convening as a group we will continue provide regular updates via email to the group on topics of interest such as:• Items of interest in S&I Initiatives such as SDC, DAF, CQF, and Data Provenance• Updates on the work and progress around eCR and the PHCP • Important information out of the HIT Standards and Policy Committee Meetings• As well as any other national webinars, in-person meetings, or other meetings of interest to the

community (also if anyone has anything they would like to share with the community we are happy to pass along information)

We will also keep our wiki page as up-to-date as possible with this information.

The plan is to resume meetings in September. Please stay tuned for more information as time gets closer.

Thank you all for your continued efforts and we will be in touch throughout the summer or feel free to reach out to us with any concerns at [email protected]
