Thank you for a wonderful year. I am proud of the hard work our students and staff have displayedthis semester. I wanted to take an opportunity to disseminate the End of Term (semester 2) schedule. Assessmentswill be Friday (June 7) and Monday (June 10) 2019. End of Term assessment schedule will be an opencampus format. Students need to attend all scheduled academic classes. Students will not have toattend Academic Study (if passing) or Study Hall on these days and are free to leave campus at thattime. The library will be open for a study area. The schedule is as follows: Friday (June 7)

Lunches for Vikings returns June 11Our summer meals program, Lunches for Vikings, starts on June 11. Through this program, free, nutritious meals are available �ve days a week for children who are in needand who live in the Stoughton Area School District. The program is a collaborative effort of the wholecommunity, with our school district, city, faith communities and area businesses working together. This summer, lunches will be available Monday-Friday, June 11-August 30 (excluding July 4) at thefollowing locations and times:

11:30 - 11:50 a.m. - Kegonsa Elementary School (near the front door)12:00 - 12:20 p.m. - Stoughton High School (by the baseball diamond on Jackson Street)12:30 - 12:50 p.m. - Bay View Heights (909 Charles Lane outside the o�ce)

These free sack lunches will include a sandwich, a drink, a vegetable, fruit, go-gurt or cheese stick,crackers, and a granola bar. If you would like more information, have questions or would like tovolunteer, contact [email protected] or visit www.lunchesforvikings.com.

Chromebook Collection for Students in Grades 9-11:Students in grades 9-11 will turn in their Chromebooks, cords, and cases on Friday, June 7 andMonday, June 11 in the multipurpose room. Students who do not turn in these items will be billed.

Summer School ProceduresFamilies: Students invited to summer school will be contacted by their teacher. Only students who scoredbetween 45%-59% for the second semester in their core classes will be eligible to attend. First-semesterrecovery students will only be invited if space allows. Students invited can show up on the �rst day ofsummer school and will be expected to attend daily in order to remain eligible to recover over thesummer. Summer school will run from June 17-20th and June 24-27 from 8:30-11:30. A student withmultiple classes to recover will work on one class at a time.

FREE YOUTH MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID TRAININGThe Stoughton Area School District is sponsoring a FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA)training on either June 12th or 14th from 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. YMHFA is an 8-hour workshop led bytwo trained instructors. The material will cover information on mental health literacy, adolescentdevelopment, anti-stigma messaging and a 5 step process to support youth with a mental healthchallenge or crisis. Participants will learn the signs of a mental health crisis and have the informationto refer to outside resources.
