The response from devotees was overwhelming and spontaneous. The work could be completed in record time. The governing body extend their thanks to the devotees for their support and generous contribution. We are now facing the brunt of high inflation and would not be able to meet the high cost of administrative expenditure in the maintenance of the Temple particularly salaries and honorarium, cost of Pooja material and the increase in diesel price in maintenance of generator. The margin from seva income like archana, abhishekam etc and the hundial collection would not be adequate to meet the entire administrative expenditure. Rising of tariff rate for sevas would reflect in reduction in volume. We therefore request each household to contribute at least Rs. 300/- per month towards temple maintenance. This contribution would go along away in bridging the gap between the revenue and expenditure. A sum of ` 8 lakhs has been withdrawn already from the corpus for meeting capital expenditure relating to construction of New Sannidhis . In the recent meeting of AGM held on 23rd September 2012, the life members stressed that the corpus fund should not be utilised at any cost for running the day to day expenses of the temple and advised the governing body to plough back ` 8 lakhs to the corpus fund to maintain the finance of the temple in a healthy state. We propose celebrating very important functions in the ensuing quarter viz. a) Skanda shasti, b) Navarathri celebration including cultural programmes c) Sastha Preeti d) Mandala pooja for lord Ayyappan, e) Dhanur Masa Pooja, f) Sampoorna Narayaneeyam. We request the devotees to note the dates and participate in large numbers and sponsor /offer for various sevas and receive the blessing of the Almighty.
