The sublime Conqueror said that if one recites this prayer when one gets up, one will achieve all one’s aims that day; if one recites it before going to sleep, one will have good dreams; if one recite it as one enters into battle, one will be victorious in every respect; if one recites it when one begins a project, one’s plans will succeed; if one recites it daily one’s lifespan, success, fame and wealth will increase, one will accomplish one’s aims exactly as one has planned and find perfect happiness; all negative actions and obscurations will be purified and all one’s desires for the highest temporal and ultimate happiness will be fulfilled. This is a great garland of jewels which rose out of the oceanic mind of Jampel Gyepai Dorje (Mipham Rinpoche) at a perfect time, the third day of the fifth month, a Sunday, in the Fire Monkey year, at an auspicious moment when the constellation of the Victor was dominant. Is Orgyen’s stainless Lake Dhanakosha.

Its profound depths are filled with water of the eight qualities.

Within its center is the stem of a jeweled lotus with petals unfolded.

Upon this is Orgyen Dorje Chang, in whom all refuges converge.

Brilliant with the splendour of the major and minor marks, he is

embracing Tsogyal, the mother consort.

He holds a vajra in his right hand and a vase within a skullcup in

Exquisite in their silks and ornaments of jewels and bone,

majesty and blessing of supreme bliss.

GURU PEMA SIDDHI HUNG

With these words repeat the Seven Line Prayer as many times as

possible. Due to the devotion of your prayer, five-coloured rays of

the light of deathless wisdom extend like filaments from both the

point of union and the hearts of the father and mother gurus. As

these filaments are absorbed into your heart, the stream of your

consciousness is infused with blessings. Repeat the Vajra Guru

mantra as many times as is appropriate.

AH All is from the beginning unborn and primordially pure,

Yet conceptual thoughts, arising momentarily in our deluded minds,

Which we confess now in the expanse of the dharmadhatu

mother, utter purity!

VAJRA Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, who declared the vajra decree,

SATTVA Now that the time has elapsed for impairments to

become faults,

And causes for the harsh retribution commanded by

obscured this life and the next, by accumulating the causes of

the great hells!

HUNG ‘King of Passion’, the great primordial Vajra,

Free from any conceptual reference, beyond all Impairment or

Is Samantabhadra, always perfect, the vast expanse of rigpa,

Ever present as the space of dharmadhatu: AH

This king of all confessions, three vajra words, will empty samsara

from its depths, like the philosophers stone turns iron into gold.

This is an oral instruction which protects those who have fallen

prey to ignorance and impaired their samayas. It burst from the

wisdom mind of Samantabhadra, and I Padma set it down in

symbolic code for the sake of future generations. May it meet with

my emanation, my own heart’s son!

With HRIH the hosts of deities of the three roots are delighted

and fulfilled.

Holders of unobstructed miraculous activity,

Whatever samaya of the Vajrayana tradition

gal wa’i nyam chak chi chiy shak

is broken is openly confessed.

dro wa kun ni chog tu ga wai rang zhin te

All beings are the manifest nature of supreme joy.

naljor ma ni khor loi rang zhin du ne kyi

The yogini is the naturally-dwelling mandala.

sa sum ma lu dro wa sangye kyi rang zhin

All the beings of the three realms, without exception, are

natural buddhas.

nying je zhön nu ma dang lhen chig rol par ja’o

Together with them, transformed through compassion into

youthful Dakinis, we enjoy these offerings.

Alas, ignorant beasts do not understand this!

Beautiful inherent Dakinis accept it in great bliss.

gang gi dön dam pa ni ma gom par

Whoever does not meditate in the absolute truth

Will not attain actual buddhahood.

Understand that inner and outer are indistinguishable, and

Thus you will have the potential to liberate all worldliness.

This desirable feast substance is an embellishment of wisdom

Lord of the feast, master of the feast, Guru Vidyadhara,

Possessors of the three realms of the mandala and of the

twenty- four sacred places,

Dakas, dakinis, samaya-bound Dharma protectors:

Approach and accept this enjoyable feast offering;

I confess my transgressions, confusions, errors and corruptions

Destroy outer and inner obstacles into the dharmadhatu;

OM AH HUNG Arrogant hosts who get the excess offerings,

Gather like clouds! Eat ravenously!

Eat the remainder offerings laced with flesh and blood!

According to your original promise

ten dra dam nyam zay su zo

Devour as food the enemies of the dharma and those with

broken samaya!

tak dang tsen ma nyur dü ton

Show signs and omens – quickly!

drub pai bar che dok pa dang

Repel the obstacles to accomplishment and

trin le thok me drup par dzö

Complete your enlightened activities without impediment.

Saying this, throw out the remainder offerings.

Conclusion

lamai ne sum yi ge dru sum le

From the three syllables in the guru’s three places,

ö zer kar mar thing sum jung ne su

Emerge three rays of white, red and dark blue light.

As these are absorbed into my own three places,

drib jang ku sung thuk kyi dor jer gyur

My three doors are purified of obscurations and become the

vajras of enlightened body, speech and mind.

Finally the guru, together with his retinue, dissolve into light.

Which becomes a white sphere glowing red and marked with

HUNG

rang gi nying gar thim pe lamai thuk

As this is absorbed into my heart,

rang sem yer me lhen kye chö kur ne

I dwell in coemergent Dharmakaya, the Guru’s mind and mine

inseparable.

Ah Ah

With these words behold your own inherent true face, that of

supreme pristine dharmakaya, your own mind’s very nature,

primordially beyond all fabrication, all acceptance and rejection.

Then once again, regarding all illusion-like appearance as being of

the nature of the lama, conclude by dedicating the virtue and

making prayers of auspicious wishes.

On the eighth day of the waxing moon in the month of Droshin of

the year called ‘Taming All’, that is the seventh month of the Fire

Female Pig Year (1887), this arose from the lake of the mind of

Mipham Nampar Gyalwa, one who prays that he serve Guru Pema

in all his lifetimes. May there be virtue!

Aspiration

kunzang dorje chang chen men chay

Beginning with Kuntuzangpo and great Dorje Chang,

drin chen tsa wai lama yen chay kyi

Down to my own kindest root lama,

dro wai don du mön lam gang tab pa

Whatever aspirations they have made to benefit beings,

de dak tham che dak gi drub par shok

May I accomplish them all!

The roar of the threefold infallible logic

ta men ri dak tshok nam trak dzed pa

terrifies the droves of wild animals who hold lower views.

t’hek chok seng ge’i dra yang sa sum khyab

The melodious sound of the lion of the supreme vehicle

pervades the three-fold universe.
