SHOW RULES. *Office Hours on show days for entries and membership will be from 7.30am to 9.30am. *Disputes Committee will consist of: N Rheinberger, B Etcell, H Fryer & M Lewis (any three to stand)

*Classes will be combined on the day when necessary ie: Jnr Yth/Snr Yth etc.

as a service and because we do not pay a full stable set up fee of $45.00 per stable the Council

agreement does not include Stable bedding. At times this is available but at others it isn’t and the onus is on competitors to provide their own bedding where necessary. * AS SUCH IF STABLE IS NOT LEFT IN THE CONDITION IT IS FOUND A CLEANING FEE WILL BE APPLIED TO THE USER OF $25.00 PER STABLE (Council charge).

*To be eligible for annual highpoint awards the competitor/horse must compete in a minimum of 50% of the club

shows for the season CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. All riders/owners must be a current financial member of the CWPH&AC Inc. for insurance purposes or pay day membership. 2. All dogs must be on a lead at all times. 3. No horses are to be tied to floats on the grass area. 4. Stables must be left clean at end of show. If not, you will be invoiced a fee for cleaning. 5. Events are to be run under (HSAA, AAA, AQHA & PHAA) rules and CWPH & AC rules as Specified 6. Approved safety helmets are encouraged to be worn. Youth to wear helmet at all times when not competing

7. Amateur competitors must hold a current Amateur Owner Ticket and these must be presented & a copy supplied annually. 8. All age classes are as at the age as at 1st August. 9. 2 year olds not to be shown under saddle prior to 1st January, except AQHA Reg horses (not prior to 31st March). 10. Junior horses under 6 years in western classes can be ridden in a Snaffle bit, hackamore, 2 handed or a bridle 1 handed.

11. Senior Horses 6 yrs. and over in western classes are to be ridden 1 Handed in a bridle 12. Competitors in classes 65,83 & 92 cannot compete in any other ridden Classes on the day 13. Horses shown in Any Other Breed halter classes are not eligible to show in any other Breed Halter class on that day. 14. Entrants must be a current financial member of the CWPH&AC Inc. or have a day membership

15. BEGINNER RULES: The Club holds events for Beginners at its shows and maintains its own rules for Beginner Division

eligibility. These rules may be reviewed annually. 1. Beginner eligibility is based on the rider not the horse. 2. Only riders that have not won at state or national level are eligible for Beginner Division 3. Tack and attire does not have to meet the specific rule for the event but must be of the following: a. ENGLISH CLASSES: Stock or English saddle, jeans or jodhpurs, boots, long sleeve Shirt, safety helmet. Any

Standard English bit in a bridle as per H.S.A.A. Rulebook, Jacket & tie optional. b. WESTERN CLASSES: Stock or western saddle, jeans, long sleeve shirt, felt hat or Safety helmet, boots, tie, belt.

(Chaps optional) 4. To be ridden one or two handed in acceptable bit as per H.S.A.A Rulebook. 5. Beginner Division competitors are able to compete in led events, Beginner led and ridden events and Walk & Trot / Walk & Jog Ridden events only. 6. Once a Beginner competes in ridden events other than specified in 5. above at a CWPH&AC Inc show, they are no longer eligible for Beginner Division. 7. Entrants must be a current financial member of the CWPH&AC Inc. or have a day membership

Competitors/participants at any event run by CWPH&AC Inc. have a responsibility to ensure the welfare of their horses and at all times to treat their horses humanely and with dignity, respect and compassion. Competitors/participants are to conduct themselves in a professional manner and act with integrity in all dealings with the Affiliate and other competitors, to uphold the rules and regulations of the CWPH&AC inc and the respective breed associations and the HSAA at all times. Competitors/participants are to demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times, showing respect for your fellow competitors and officials, following the rules and to treat people the way you yourself wish to be treated.

All youth competing or taking part in an AQHA approved event, must have written permission from their parent/guardian to be at that event as a contestant or participant and in the case of a contest, the parent/guardian must also sign the entry form. All youth competing or taking part in an AQHA approved event, must be in the care of a responsible adult who is in attendance for the duration of that event, whilst the youth is in attendance at that event. No alcohol is allowed in, or can be consumed in the marshalling areas, working arenas or show pen/contest areas. The committee reserves the right to cancel classes or alter the Program as necessary
