My belief:

No, I do not believe the rich should be taxed more than the average American.

- Why should they be? - Rich people should be penalized for finding a way to make more money?

Rich people should be taxed more????

ok…so if I go out & find a way to make my own business & it works & I become very successful & wealthy….while a buddy from highschool who lives down the street from me decides to stay at home to play cod during the day & work at wendys.

He should be taxed less than me…?

So lets do some math……

Average- $80,000

x .25

= $20,000 TAXED

Rich- $400,000

x .40 = $160,000 Taxed

How the tax rate in the U.S. is now…

How the U.S. could be with a flat tax rate…

Average- $80,000 x .32 = $25,600

Rich- $400,000 x .32 = $128,000

Instead…the U.S should have a Flat Tax system

-A system that applies the same tax rate to every taxpayer regardless of income bracket. A flat tax applies the same tax rate to all taxpayers, with no deductions or exemptions allowed.

Because basically by taxing the rich more, the rich are paying the loopholes that others aren’t paying……so they’re really paying for someone else’s tax/someone else’s tax “difference”

we need balance!!!
