Introduction My name is Alex. I have chosen the topic of vaccinations being

required for children, due to the fact that I have two children of

my own. I have always wondered since having my boys, about

vaccinations and their value to our children and their lives.

My Point of View I am for vaccinations due to the fact that they save lives.

Although with vaccines:

I believe there are problems with how often we vaccinate our children.

And how soon we start vaccinations.

That major changes need to occur to our schedule of vaccinations for children.

To help prevent health and developmental issues.

Problems with Vaccinations Are vaccinations beneficial or harmful to children?

Vaccinations are both beneficial and harmful to children.

Although if done right, they could be simply beneficial.

Beneficial- Keeps children from dying or getting sick with major disease’s

Harmful- Can be linked to SIDS and Developmental Disorders

SIDS-Sudden Infant Death Syndrome

Developmental Disorders- Disorder than involves serious impairment in many area’s.

My AssumptionsVaccination schedules push to many vaccines onto

babies to soon causing: Autism SIDS Other developmental issues/disorders

Vaccinations keep you from getting deadly diseases but cause other harms.

Evidence Vaccinations have almost whipped out many deadly

diseases.

Concluding in less deaths.

As well as less deadly wide spread diseases.

Many disease’s that over ruled the world 50-100 years ago no longer exist or are almost nonexistent.

Vaccines and Autism In 2013 every 1 in 50 school children were diagnosed as

Autistic.

In1980 only every 1 in 10,000 were diagnosed as Autistic.

Something is obviously seriously WRONG!

The increase in Autism occurred when there was an increase of MMR vaccines (Measles, Mumps, Rubella).

Vaccines and SIDS SIDS often happens in the 2-4 month period of infants life.

Although SIDS can happen up to when a child is 12months/1 year old.

This period (2-4months) is when primary vaccinations start for infants.

Many SIDS deaths have been linked to vaccines containing DPT.◦ Although this link has been ignored and brushed off with lame excuses.

Japan suspected that vaccines were killing babies.

So they stopped all vaccinations of children under 2 years of age

Therefore improving their SIDS rate to be the best in the western world.

Others POV Vaccines are more harmful to our children then they are

beneficial.

Vaccinations are a way the government controls/owns us.

Why should we vaccinate when these deadly disease no longer exist?

The government makes major medical decisions.

Vaccinations aren’t the reason many deadly disease’s no longer exist.

Vaccinations are being forced onto us.

Counter Argument The best counter argument is Sherri Tenpenny’s argument.

Her argument is strong, but it doesn’t cover the matter on how we will continue to protect children from deadly disease’s.

Along with the fact that she fails to see that vaccines are the reason so many deadly disease’s no longer exist.

Clean air and healthy food don’t protect us like Sherri seems to believe they do.

They don’t keep bacteria and infections away.

The main goal of vaccinations.

Conclusion/SolutionConclusion:

Vaccines save lives from deadly disease’s. Although pushing so many vaccines onto children/babies at once can be extremely harmful to them. Pushing so many onto them can cause

Solution: Only a few vaccines should be given to babies until they

reach two years old, to help prevent SIDS and Autism. Vaccines need to be more spread out throughout the

years, to also help with the many other developmental and health issues they may cause.

Recommendations Recommendations for action to change the way

our children receive and when they receive shot’s:◦ Change the requirement’s for when and how many shot’s babies

need to receive in their first 2 years.

◦ Change the requirement’s/schedule for when children need to receive their shot’s.

◦ Make laws to keep these requirements permanent.
