Page 2: Shots with description

Starts of with a black screen then cuts to the first shot.

Page 3: Shots with description

The first shot is of the neglected child sitting in the corner of the room, he looks sad and lonely. The door starts to slowly open. The room is dark and dull.

This shot is shown for around 3 seconds this will be one of the longer shots we use. It will be a medium shot and the camera will be behind the door looking like the audience are at the door looking at the child. A high angle shot may be used to show the Childs vulnerability.

In this shot you will hear slow eerie music, so the audience may sympathise with the child. Sound effects may be used such as doors creaking.

Page 4: Shots with description

This shot will quickly flash up after the shot of the boy sitting in the corner of the room. It is of the same room but the boy has disappeared, this is of the room at present time. The door is still slowly opening and we see a wall covered in pictures of people with there eyes cut out and red crosses on there faces. This is the boys room now he is older.

The shot will last about second long, it will be a medium shot of the room like the first shot.

Page 5: Shots with description

This will be the same shot as the first one. Seeing the boy in the room again but the door is slightly open more.

Page 6: Shots with description

This will be the same shot as shot 2. Showing the room with the pictures on the wall at present time. This will again flash up for a second.

Page 7: Shots with description

This shot will be of a long corridor. It will start at the end and zoom closer to the door very quickly. This will create an uneasy effect on the audience. We will use handheld camera. This shot will only last a second before it flashes of the screen. Our transitions between shots will be dip to white or black. The soundtrack starts with the fast tense music with a scary side so the audience can see the genre.

Page 8: Shots with description

This type of shot will be used quite a lot, with the killers victims running away. These are very effective as it shows they are scared and running. This shot will change each time you see one, one may be seen from above the victim following them running or we may see the victims feet so a range of camera angles are used. These shots will also last only a second.

Page 9: Shots with description

This is a close up of a weapon, this shot may also be used multiple times to make the audience uneasy. All the shots in this part of the teaser will be very quick and may only last even half a second.

Page 10: Shots with description

A close up of one of the victims looking down at their bloody hands panicking. Shots of victims looking scared, shaken and covered in blood will also be used multiple times.

Page 11: Shots with description

A medium shot of a possible victim laying on the floor, possibly in a pool of blood. You will be unable to see how they died or maybe even who they are as the shot will be very quick and we will use lighting effectively to create this effect.

Page 12: Shots with description

One of the victims facing away from the camera and quickly turning round scared as something is behind them. We may use a high angle shot looking down at the victim as she may just be attacked. This will show that her character is not as powerful. She will look scared and the soundtrack for our teaser will continue.

Page 13: Shots with description

Another shot of the victims running away.

Page 14: Shots with description

Excuse the spelling mistake, we may use sign that will threaten his victims, saying something like “you're dead” or “you’re next” This will be a close up of a piece of paper or a note saying it. It will flash up quickly.

Page 15: Shots with description

This is a repeat of shot 1 that will flash quickly a couple of times to show the boy sitting in the corner of the room.

Page 16: Shots with description

A shot of the killers legs, we can see him holding a knife dripping with blood. He is looking into a room with people inside. We may see a shadow from behind a curtain of people in the house. This shot will also be quick, It will be a medium shot of the house but a close up of him and the weapon.

Page 17: Shots with description

Another shot of victims running.

Page 18: Shots with description

A shot of a dog with blood around his muzzle, seeing images like this that flash up are quite disturbing and in some horror teasers they show disturbing images. This will add to the horror effect. It will be a medium shot of the dog, we may choose to do it from below the dog like he has just attacked a victim. Or just a normal level shot of him. It will also last a second, we may use sound effects like a dog snarling.

Page 19: Shots with description

A victim screaming or crying covered in blood. We don’t know whether its her blood or another victims or the killers. Seeing people covered in blood creates an uncomfortable feel on the audience.

Not knowing what happens to the characters makes the genre more effective. You see clips that may or may not appear in the film.

Page 20: Shots with description

Another shot of victims running, different camera angles will be used and different types of camera use, such as handheld or tilted angles.

Page 21: Shots with description

This shot will be of a victims body laying on the floor wrapped in a piece of rag or blanket. There will be blood stains on it and it will be placed in a dark room which adds mystery to it.

Page 22: Shots with description

A shot which is used quite often in horror films, where the victim is looking in the mirror and the killer appears behind them. This shot is typical for the horror genre so we would like to use it in our teaser.

Page 23: Shots with description

More shots of victims running. We would also like on a shot like this one of the victims being dragged into a room.

Page 24: Shots with description

A quick shot of a hand covered in blood opening a door, shots that are random are used quite often in teasers to show a lot that’s happening. Some may not be relevant to the film but the more shots that are used it looks more effective.

Page 25: Shots with description

This will be a repeat of shot 2, it will remind the audience of the disturbing image on the wall, his list of who he wants to get revenge on.

Page 26: Shots with description

A shot of the little boy standing up in the doorway he is looking down but seems angry and upset.

Page 27: Shots with description

This will be the last shot you see, it will be of the killer putting his hand over one of his victims mouths, she looks shocked and scared, it will be quite close up to her face.

Page 28: Shots with description

Then it will cut to a black screen their will be a silence as the titles appear.
