Everyone goes home with a Rosette

A Rosette will be placed on every cage, during the show, buttons will be placed in an envelope ontop of your cage with any placings your cat has won. These can then be placed on your Rosette after all judging has concluded.

OUR JUDGES

Ring 1 Judy Lewis - QFA - All Groups In 1964 Judy owned a show/breeding lilac point Siamese female and this was the start of her interest in the cat fancy. Judy’s prefix Metinka was granted in NSW in 1964. In 1966 she owned a deaf blue–eyed white Persian. In 1967 Judy and a friend brought into Australia the first pair of seal point Birmans from England followed by seven more seal and blue point Birmans to expand the gene pool. During her years of judges training Judy bred Burmese and Devon Rex and has shown a blue British Shorthair, Oriental, Russian and Maine Coon. Judy has achieved many awards with these breeds. Her main passions are the Birman and Maine Coon breeds. Judy gained her Group 1 licence in 1974, Group 2 in 1980 and then completed her training in Group 3 (all with NSW CFA) to become an All Breeds judge in 1985. She transferred to QFA Inc. in 2001. Judy has judged all over Australia and New Zealand as well as in Singapore, UK, Japan and

South Africa. Judy is past Secretary of QFA Inc. an All Breeds Tutor Judge, Life Member and Patron of Birman Cat Fanciers Club of Qld, Life Member of the UK Birman Cat Club, St George Cat Club of NSW and Alpine Cat Club of New Zealand and Delegate to QFA Council for the Cairns All Breeds Cat Club.

Ring 2 Lesley Morgan - CAT - All Groups I began in 1964 with chinchilla Persians. (Comyn) As my parents became involved with Burmese (Jindivik, 1965) and then imported the first British Shorthair breeding pair into Australasia (Redwyton, 1969) was involved with those breeds. Also in 1967 I acquired a tabby point Siamese, breeding the first lilac tabby point on the Australian bench in Jan, 1969 (Merriminx). Seeing my first Exotic Shorthair in the flesh at a show in Holland in the early 80’s, I pioneered that breed in Australia for some 16

generations. I also owned the ultimate show pony tawny Abyssinian superstar neuter from 1997. My current relationship: 2 pensioner desexed Exotics, a rescued spay and an inherited German Shepherd. I have held various positions in the cat fancy: Tasmanian clubs since 1965, head tutor judge Tasmania since 1975, all positions but Treasurer with CAT Inc., ACF (Inc.) Acting President, International Liaison Officer, Editor or co–editor yearbooks 1970’s, 1980’s, 1996 to present day, ACF (Inc.) delegate to World Cat Congress for 12 of its 16 meetings, inaugural Treasurer, ACF Judges’ Guild, Secretary and Editor, "Felijudge". Show manager, ACF (Inc.) National Shows 1987, 1983, 1999, 2007 and 2012. Show Convenor, 2014 ACF National. 1968 Shorthair and 1971 Longhair (All breeds) ACF Panel 1975

Ring 3 Hazel Rossiter - Cats NSW - All Groups Since my childhood, I have had animals in my life and it was inevitable that I would be involved with them as an adult. I have owned and successfully shown Labrador Retrievers in the U.K. In the early eighties, I left the Channel Islands and emigrated to Australia with my family and my two Labradors. After thoroughly enjoying showing my dogs in the UK I then decided to look at the various cat breeds. I purchased two Siamese cats as pets in 1986 and this was invariably my introduction to the Cat Fancy. I have bred and shown Burmese, Siamese, and Oriental Shorthairs and have had considerable success under the "Ahzel" prefix. I have also owned a Devon Rex and our household currently includes a Scottish Fold plus British Shorthairs which I currently show. Not to forgot our domestics which I have rescued and welcomed into our home, whilst they do not have a pedigree there is a place for them at shows and I take

great pleasure in judging them and giving them awards. I have been actively involved in numerous clubs and have held various positions of Secretary of the Burmese Cat Society of A/Asia and President of the Oriental Cat Club of NSW. I gained my group 3 judges licence in 1999 followed by group 2 in 2004 and group 1 in 2007. I moved to CATS NSW in 2015 I have judged in most states of Australia and internationally New Zealand and Philippines
