- "Create new message" . Show/hide "Create new message" window. User can make new e-mail message, and save it as EML-file, or send it to server (if connection is established and remote user work as mail-server). If sending is started, window will close automatically.

- "Send existing mail" . Show "Send mail" window (allow select type of a mail (EML or private mail-file), select address and the EML/private mail-file) and send a request for sending a EML/mail-file to the server (for the specified address or for send-ing to Inet).

- "Delete mail". Show "Delete mail request" window (allow select a mail-file) and send a request for deleting mail from the mailbox. Result status of the request is report-ed back to the user.

Menu "Mail-server".All sub-menus available and work if the options "Periodically send/receive

email..." is enabled.

Page 3: Short User's Manual

- "Start checking e-mail". Manually start process of receiving and sendind e-mails, and show window "E-mail transfer progress".

- "E-mail transfer progress". Just show/hide window "E-mail transfer progress".

Menu "Options".All sub-menus available and work any time.

- "Remote users list" . Show the window for simple editing of user database, and assign to some users "Privileged" status.

- "Preferences..." . Show "Options" window. Most important options will be described later.

- "Tuning to signal" . Show/hide "Tuning to signal" window. Allow see Spec-troscope/Raw received data/IQ-diagram, display the shift of carrier frequency and al-low its correction.

- "Packet monitor" . Show/hide "Packet monitor" window. Allow the viewing of all correctly received packets (even without connection).

Menu "Broadcast".All sub-menus available and work any time.

- "'Beacon' mode" . Enable/disable 'beacon' mode (periodically seinding signal to ether). After enable, show the "Start 'beacon'" window. Allow 'beacon' data-file se-lection, beacon signal mode selection, and beacon timer setting in seconds.

- "Broadcast chat" . Enable/disable sending broadcast-chat messages (in un-connected state only). Broadcast messages must be typed in chat-input window (as well as simple chat messages).

Menu "View".All sub-menus available and work any time.- "Show toolbar". Show/hide toolbar (bar with the tool-buttons in the top of the

main window).- "Show macros-bar". Show/hide macros-bar (bar with the macros-buttons in the

bottom of the main window).- "RX/TX pictures". Show/hide special "RX/TX pictures" window. Allow pre-

viewing of transmitted picture, and viewing of received picture (in broadcast beacon signal only).

Chapter 2. Some options.

Page "Connection".- "Limited count of connecting attempts". Enabled - program will do limeted con-

necting attempts, disabled – unlimited.- "Limited maximum connection time". If enabled - program will automatically

disconnect after time limit is reached.- "Automatically disconnect (if traffic is empty)". Enabled - RFSM will do dis-

connect, if there is no data-transfer and timeout is reached.- "AutoConnecting with other users (not required confirmation for accept connect-

ing) ". Enabled - allow auto-connecting with all users, grayed - allow auto-connecting with users from privileged list, disabled - don't allow autoconnect.

- "Do not allow make connection for users from 'Black' list".

Page "File transfer".- "AutoReceiving of files (not required confirmation for accept of file-transfer)".

Enabled - allow auto-receive all files, grayed - allow auto-receive files for users from privileged list, disabled - don't allow autoreceiving.

- "AutoResume of part-received files (not required confirmation for resume of file-transfer)". If enabled - allow auto-resume transfer of uncompleted files.

- "Use built-in compression of transferred files". If enabled - allow built-in com-pression for transferred files.

- "Use file-based IPC (inter-process communications)". If enabled - allow simple file-based remote control and IPC.

- "Delayed output of user messages". Enabled - display user messages only when sent, grayed - display when typed (gray color) and when sent, disabled - display when typed (old style).

- "Maximum count of retry's (when program don't 'hear' answer)". Set maximum counts of retry's.

Page "Server-mode".- "Operational as FTP-like server (public file-exchange)". If enabled - allow work

as public FTP-server (allow reading (downloading) files from DOWNLOAD directory and writing (uploading) files to UPLOAD directory).

- "Overwrite existing public files". Enabled - new files (in UPLOAD directory) will overwrite existed files (with equal names), disabled - names of new files will be modified (for avoid overwriting).

- "Operational as local MAIL-server (private file-exchange and E-mail-support)". If enabled - allow work as local MAIL-server (features: read mail-box, get mail, send mail, delete mail)".

- "Periodically send/receive E-mail (work with POP3- and SMTP-servers)". If en-abled, program will automatically poll POP3 server for receiving new emails, and check all mailboxes for sending emails to SMTP-server.

- "After connect, output special 'greetings' message". Allow automatically output of special message to chat-output window after connect (useful for servers).

Page "E-mail (server)".Please, set correct POP3/SMTP settings for your email account.

Page "Directory".- "Root DOWNLOAD directory" - remote users will get (download) files from

here (and from any subdirectories)"- "UPLOAD directory" - remote users will put (upload) files to here.- "Root MAILBOX directory" - mail-server uses this directory tree for storing

mail-files.- "INBOX directory" - user will receive mail-file from server to here.

Page "Modulation".Group "Modulation type" allow select type of used modulation:- "MIL-STD 188-110A/B - band 0,3-3,3 kHz - 2400 baud - carrier 1800 Hz";- "Non-standard - band 0,3-2,7 kHz - 2000 baud - carrier 1500 Hz" (adapted for

ham rigs);- "Non-standard - 'dumb modem' mode - IPC only".Group "Modulation/demodulation options".- "Default TX carrier frequency, Hz". Allow select value of carrier frequency in

transmitted signal.- "Default RX carrier frequency, Hz". Allow select value of carrier frequency in
