3 Recording of measurement data with ANALYST 3Q
• Install the ANALYST 3Q on the measuring site, select function “PQ” for power quality measurements
• Wait until the flicker filters are initialised (appr. 2 minutes)
• Set the required averaging time with the menu functions e.g. 10 minutes for measurements compliant with EN50160. - The interval can be set between 1 s and 20.000 seconds.
• Press “Record” to start the measurement
• In function PQ ANALYST 3Q will record up to 9600 intervals based on the preset averaging interval. The test can be aborted any time by pressing button “Record” again.

4 Reading of measured values
• Power on the ANALYST 3Q and make sure that it is in the HOLD mode (press Run/Hold once)
• Connect ANALYST 3Q to a serial port of your PC
• Run the WinA3Q software Select COM port ANALYST 3Q is connected to, the language and picture size for exporting screen shots
• Select menu File-Import:

• WinA3Q displays an overview of all available screenshots and the recording file:
• Menu File:
Open opens a previously stored file from the PC Save saves the actual diagram (right side of window) to a file in format .bmp Print prints actual diagram on system printer Printer setup opens a dialog for definition of printer settings Import import measured values from the ANALYST 3Q Export exports recorded data to a file in PQDIF-format with the extension .pqd Exit exits WinA3Q
