1. Scope
This report covers the short circuit testing of current Panduit 3/4" wide Metal Strapping
(MS75). Ties are subjected to electromagnetic forces during a short circuit event at
different tie spacing.

3. Test Method
MS75 strap and buckles were applied in a double loop configuration with Panduit
Installation tools and subjected to short circuit at a prescribed peak current per IEC 61914.
Samples were examined after the test to show whether the strap and buckle held and if any
damage occurred to the cable.
