Significantly increasing traffic volumes

•Guides and controls municipalities, owners of harbours, docks, and industrial and storage plants which are obliged to organise oil spill response measures

• Project steering group composed of oil combating authorities, trans agency co-operation

• A temporary project will end in year 2011

Conclusions• The SOKO plan: when the incident rises to the major scale oil

washes ashore important resources are needed

• Large number of projects partners involves risks, but brings together those who would naturally come together to respond

• To ensure the whole logistic chain is considered reducing the response time minimising environmental damage & response costs
