Be Here Now is an irreverently comic yet tender look at how music seeps into and influences our lives. Pumping nineties beats, suspect dance routines and angsty shoegazing combine to celebrate the irresistible power of pop, and examine how that song will forever ignite heady feelings of love lost and won.TOOT will immerse you in a world of CDs, cassettes and videotapes; rewinding, fast-forwarding and pausing fantasies, memories, the rawness of love and the music that defines it. Hit repeat and relive together the scenes you play over and over in your head, the moments you can’t change - all set to a soundtrack of ‘90s classics.Playful and chaotic, Be Here Now will take you into your teenage bedroom, laying amid the jewel cases, surrounded by posters, a half-written love letter by your side... waiting for it all to happen.

dates: Tue 17 – Sat 28 June times: 7.30pm tickets: £11 running time: 60 mins

Our miracle lies in the path we choose together. And we enter into it knowing that the true magic of love is not to avoid changes, but to invite them into our hearts. Let us commit until death parts us.

The big day has arrived. We invite you to join us for Wedding.

“Telling it how it is even when you don’t quite know how it was.”

Set in the intimacy of a bedsit, It’s Like He’s Knocking explores ancestry, ritual, migration and the magic of coincidence through an enchanting combination of storytelling, dance-theatre and Afro-Brazilian percussion.

Navigating the underground caverns of Shoreditch Town Hall’s basement, Leo weaves an enthralling and hard-hitting narrative through the lives of three generations of men in his family.

Drink a toast to loved ones, bet on some cards and close your eyes to remember your past. As Leo’s story unfolds; so in turn does your own.

Completing the double-bill is the Winner of the 2010 Chortle Student Comedian of the Year Award and Comedy Central Live Funniest Student Award 2011,

Phil Wang who’s rapidly making a name for himself as one of Britain’s funniest Engineering undergraduates. With a dry, deadpan charm and the occasional ukulele, Phil will try out new material which is sure to have you in stitches.

The ridiculously funny trio of Mark Cooper Jones, Kieran Boyd and Naz Osmanoglu make up the imaginative, energetic and eminently silly sketch outfit WitTank. Stars of BBC3’s Live at The Electric, WitTank invite you into the charmingly warped world of The School; a deranged and archaic institution with a dizzying array of lovable eccentrics, diabolical lunatics and malevolent buffoons. So tuck your shirt in, sit up straight, keep off the grass, don’t answer back and enjoy the show. Welcome to boarding school.
