Opening the Umbrella The Umbrella opens like common rain umbrella. Figures 1 – 5 1. Pull open the Velcro ® strap that holds the umbrella closed. 2. Reach under the material to find the metal slider on the post. 3. Push the slider up the post and the umbrella will open. 4. The umbrella will lock in place when the metal slider is pushed over the metal locking tab on the post. 5. This image shows the umbrella set up on a LiteStand with a ShoeMount MulClamp. Securing the Umbrella to your Light NOTE: Set up your light stand and light head in the manner suggested by your equipments’ manufacturers. Most light heads, head mounng clamps, and LiteStand mounts will have a receptacle and locking mechanism for securing the umbrella in front of the light. Figures 6 – 8 6. Here we show a ShoeMount MulClamp (available separately) as our umbrella and flash support. Slide the post of the umbrella into the receptacle hole. 7. Hand-ghten the locking knob. 8. With the other hand, push the metal locking tab into the post unl the metal collar is free. 11. Slide the metal collar down the post unl the umbrella is closed. 12. Wrap the Velcro strap around the material and secure. Shoot Through Umbrella The White San Shoot Through Umbrella features a premium quality white san 190 thread count fabric for buery soſt shoot through diffusion. Opening the UmbrellaThe Umbrella opens like common rain umbrella. Figures 1 – 5

The Photoflex umbrella line is new and improved! Now our umbrella ribs and strut pivots are constructed of a fiberglass composite, which is not only stronger, but also offers better resiliency and durability than steel or aluminum. This new feature allows for carefree handling, all but eliminating damage caused from over bending delicate steel tube ribs. All umbrella center poles are extruded and closed off at the base (vs. folded, hollow tubes, like many other umbrellas, that are easily bent and dented) adding to the durability of the Photoflex® umbrella model.
