offers panoramic views from the beaches of Shoalhaven Heads alond the Shoalhaven River to Nowra and beyond. Two figs Vinyard was planted in 2003. The Winery is now producing wines including cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, chambourcin and verdelho. the climate is temperate with maritime influences and produces soft approachable wines.

The Cambewarra Estate vineyard was planted on 20 acres of dairy land. With the magnificent Cambewarra mountain as a backdrop, 12 acres of vineyard have been planted. Planted are Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, the exciting new variety Chamboucin, and Verdelho, winner of the Boutique Wine Trophy. The rolling hills of the Shoalhaven Valley surround the two acres of dams which irrigate the vines.

picturesque Kangaroo Valley and 15 kms from Nowra in the Shoalhaven district. The winery has been developed over fifteen years; the first vines being planted in 1994.

They are situated a scenic three and a half kilometre drive from Berry township, in one of the areas many hidden valleys. The five acre vineyard has the cellar door building located in the vines. The first vines were planted in 1998. The grapes are estate grown and the wine produced is bottled locally in Gerringong. Grapes are grown without the use of pesticides or growth hormones and we use seaweed foliar sprays rather than artificial ferilisers.

vineyard at Gerringong on the South Coast of New South Wales Australia. The vineyard is situated 3km from the Pacific Ocean. The prevailing North East winds blow from the ocean between December and April resulting in perfect climatic conditions for ripening. Grapes are in production in our winery within 30 minutes of being hand harvested.

The vineyard was planted in 2007 by Barry and Monique Starkey and their five sons. Grapes are handpicked, produced and bottled on the property by the family with traditional winemaking practices. Mountain Ridge winery is a family friendly venue for all types of events. From the beginning, the aim has been to make the winery as much of an experience as possible. Not just a winery, an experience!

The Shoalhaven Coast wine growing region has flourished immensely over the past 20 years. The region stretches the length of the Shoalhaven region from Gerringong just North of Berry through to Bawley Point just south of Ulladulla and west to Kangaroo Valley. On your drive to the vineyards you will go through luscious green valleys and overlook some of the country’s most pristine beaches. As the vineyards are fairly small and intimate you will have the unique experience of meeting vignerons and wine makers at the cellar doors. In this guide we have included information on the local wineries, and an itinerary and map to the listed wineries so that you can make an easy day trip out of visiting as many or as few of these superb local vineyards. While you are out and about you may like to enjoy lunch at one of the vineyards (not all have restaurants) or in one of the cafes in the villages that you will drive through.
