• Home surveys conducted by County’s contractor Seismic Surveys
• Preconstruction survey of homes and other structures – Document existing conditions
• Post-construction survey also conducted
• Need pre/post surveys to help determine if damage occurred during construction
• Vibration levels will be monitored during pile driving operations
Tentative Schedule
• Late Feb Tree trim for OH line relocation W Benfield Rd
• Early Mar BGE sets new poles and relocates overhead line
• Mid Mar Comcast & Verizon relocate their overhead lines
• Mid Mar Shipley’s Dam construction project put out to bid
• Mid May Construction Contract Award; Contractor submits schedule • Early Jun Construction begins w/ Culvert on W. Benfield Rd
W. Benfield Rd Closed 4 – 5 months
• Early 2019 Begin removal of Shipley’s Dam
• Late Summer Construction complete 2019
