She always comes to work with a positive attitude and truly likes what she does. I think she treats all patients like family members you care for and want to protect.” That was obvious when she recently helped a patient who fell and fractured a hip in the cafeteria. She went out of her way to expedite the process, even making sure a physician reviewed the images right away. Lori added, “I feel honored to have been nominated by a co-worker. I love my job in radiology at UTMC.” Communication Shining Star Award January 2011 The iCare Shining Star Award recognizes UT Medical Center and UTP faculty, staff and/or students for their outstanding contributions that exemplify and support the mission of UTMC and the principles of the iCARE program.
