We are excited with this year’s program for the Gulf Coast Regional Family Forum 2019.

This forum remains an invitation-only gathering of private families and the trusted advisors who serve them. This is a time to listen, learn and share ideas. It’s organized and funded by a group of local, regional and national firms serving and advising the family members they have invited as their guests.

Our theme for 2019 will be “Shifting Paradigms.”

An observation that feels more relevant than usual in so many ways, our program this year will focus on six different perspectives with this theme in mind.

Investment Outlook: Are we in the 6th or 9th inning of the Great Bull Market dating back to 2009? – Featuring G. Scott Clemons, Chief Investment Strategist, Brown Brothers Harriman

Human Trafficking: What we don’t know but should?

Energy Panel: Are we over or under-estimating how much today’s paradigm of oil, gas, coal, nuclear and renewable sources will be evolving over the next 10+ years?

Real Estate Panel: Less commonly discussed, where might changes in buyer preferences and new technologies be taking the commercial and multifamily real estate sectors over the next decade?

Innovation Ecosystem Panel: This landscape is shifting as well in multiple dimensions – both in terms of looking forward to opportunities across the IT, software, media and life science sectors, but also where the funding is getting sourced and invested globally. How should investors, business and regional development leaders think about this space?

World in Disarray: How Worried Should We Be? – Featuring Ambassador Edward Djerejian, Director of the Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University, Ambassador to Israel (1993-1994), Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern and South Asian Affairs (1991-1993), Ambassador to Syria (1988-1991)

We look forward to sharing this experience with you!
