    As of the 1970s, the following ranks classify athletes of the USSR (listed in descending order

    of value):

    Merited Master of Sport of the USSR, (Russian: ,

    abbreviated as "", sometimes translated as Honoured Master of Sport of the USSR),

    equates to international champion who has made valuable contributions to the sport

    Master of Sport of the USSR, International Class(Russian:

    ; abbreviated as ""), equates to international champion

    Master of Sport of the USSR(Russian: ; abbreviated as ""),

    equates to national champion

    Candidate for Master of Sport of the USSR(Russian: ;

    abbreviated as ""), equates to nationally ranked player

    First-Class Sportsman(Russian: 1- ), equates to regional champion

    Second-Class Sportsman(Russian: 2- ), equates to state champion

    Third-Class Sportsman(Russian: 3- ), equates to city champion

    First-Class Junior Sportsman(Russian: 1- )

    Second-Class Junior Sportsman(Russian: 2- )

    Third-Class Junior Sportsman(Russian: 3- )

    Each of these titles was awarded only for results on the official competitions.

    You can find your current equipped classification in the chart below. It says:

    Powerlifting (three lifts)

    National Unified Sports Classification

    Valid between 2014-2017

    Approved by order of the Ministry of Sport #715September 6, 2013

    I'm very sure those a raw.

    I will try and find the equipped totals too.

    Yeah, I think there was a change a couple years back that made these a little more

    generous.

    Hmm yes, with the old chart I once had the requirements were much more harsh (and more

    realistic, IMO).

    I agree, I am only 2.5kg away from MS on that chart but I am at least 50kg away from

    being nationally competitive

    These are equipped totals, and MS and more is very very tough to be reached...))

    By the way, past chart was easier. Last year -83 was 732.5 and 825 for MS and MSIC

    respectively.

    Still, IPF equipped is not the usual 3 ply circus stuff people associate with the words

    "equipped" :D
