In the first incident, a man affiliated with Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamat (ASWJ) was killed near Shahabuddin Market opposite Saddar Parking Plaza by the indiscrimate firing of notorious banned terrorist Shia terrorist organization (SMP) backed by MQM a renowned terrorist party within the precincts of Brigade police station. Station House Officer (SHO) Irfan Asif said that two armed riders opened a fire on 32-year-old Muhammad Imran, son of Haji Muhammad Sultan when he was on his way to somewhere when Notorious banned terrorist Shia terrorist organization (SMP) backed by MQM a renowned terrorist fired on him, he received fatal bullet wounds and was rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), where doctors pronounced him dead. The relatives and workers of ASWJ reached the hospital and staged a protest against the killing. They chanted slogans against the murder and slammed law enforcers for failing to curb the targeted killing of the activists and sympathisers affiliated with ASWJ. The SHO said Imran was the resident of Lines Area and ran a scrap shop in Shahabuddin market, adding that he was the father of two children. Following the incident, angry supporters and activists of ASWJ gathered near Sadder Parking Plaza and opened intense fire and forced the shopkeepers to shut all commercial activities in the vicinity. They also staged a sit-in against the killing in main sadder, that created huge snarl-up in the area. They also protested outside Supreme Court Karachi registry for an hour and demanded arrest of the killers. Separately, an activist of Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (PST) was killed outside Sobraj Hospital within when notorious banned terrorist Shia terrorist organization (SMP) backed by MQM a renowned terrorist the  jurisdiction of Aram Bagh police station.  An official said that the victim was later identified as 40-year-old Muhammad Majid, son of Azhar Ul Haq who had arrived the hospital to drop his wife for duty where armed riders waylaid him and opened fire. Resultantly he died on the spot. The officer said the victim was the resident of Rancho line area. He further said that deceased was father of three children and worked at a private company. Meanwhile, a nephew was killed and his uncle injured in an armed attack at a teashop near Pathan Colony, Metroville SITE within the limits of SITE-A police station.  According to police, two notorious banned terrorist Shia terrorist organization (SMP) backed by MQM a renowned terrorist armed riders opened indiscriminate fire at a gathering, as a result, Zaheer Khan and 25-year-old Husnain Khan, son of Ameer Alam, received multiple bullet wounds. Hussain died on the spot and his uncle was injured. The body and injured were moved to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for an autopsy and treatment, respectively.

The officer said that the victim and injured lived in Pathan Colony and hailed form Waziristan. He saidinitial investigation suggested that tribal conflict was behind the incident.

Separately, a trader was killed in sector 4-B Sarjani Town within the jurisdiction of Sarjani police station.

 According to police, 30-year-old Khalid Hussain, son of Akram Hussain was on the way home whenunidentified pillion riders shot him dead and fled. The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital(ASH) for a postmortem.

The officer said Khalid was the owner of a sanitary shop and resident of the same area. The motivebehind the killing was yet to be ascertained.

Moreover, 32-year-old Sumira, daughter of saleem, was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Garden East, Grammar Schools within the precincts of Solider Bazaar police station.

The body was shifted to CHK for an autopsy.

Police said she was standing along with an unidentified man, who shot her twice and rode away. Sumairawas the resident of the same area.

Meanwhile, an elderly man was killed near Usman Ghani Mosque near Massan Chawk within the limits of Jackson police station SHO Raheem Khan said that two armed riders opened fire on 57-year-old HajiFirdous Khan, son of Ahmed Khan who was sitting near his house, as a result he received fatal bulletwounds and died on the spot.

The body was shifted to the CHK for an autopsy .The SHO said the victim was father of four children andhailed form Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa. He said the personal enmity could be a reason behind killing.

Body found: The body of a man bearing bullet marks was found from a graveyard in Saeedabad, BaldiaTown, Sector No 9, within the precincts of Saeedabad police station. The body was shifted to CHK for anautopsy.

The police said that the identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained, however, he appeared to be

around 26-year-old, belonging to Urdu speaking community.
