In this program, I provided a conception which called "block art center", the goal is for people to get closed to the artists and their works. Like a city street, people can go every where in this center and get more visual experiences. In order to achieve that effection, I designed several independent buildings with different functions, and every buildings have their own facade and interior.

These three types have their own advantages, but every buildings have no obvious connection, and the shapes of open areas are irregular.
At last, I chose the regular type because both the buildings and outdoor spaces have obvious boundaries. with the road net and module, the final form became clear and reasonable.

In this program, we decided to take the advantage of its special location and create a significant space for students, teachers, staffs and even the public. The site is located in Zhangjiang High-Tech Park, No.109 chunxiao Road. It is seperated by the chunxiao road, and the whole area is about 32,700m. The east of the site is Huoju gardon and Zhangjiang Art Park, and residential areas are in the west side. Also, there are some office buildings on the northen site, and it's south faces a gymground. Around the campus, trees and rivers made the environment quiet and scenic.due to the special geography conditions, our purpose was focused on how to utilize the current situation as rational as possible.

This site is located in the city center of chengdu china, which faces the jingjiang River. The special geographic position and perfect sight may make this twin towers become a landmark of chengdu. At first, I collected the local culture and buildings as design references. And later, david chose the picture of traditional tiles as our design theme., because the local tiles have their special patterns. So, during the process, we focused on how to change these special patterns into feasible skin.

From the reference pictures, we found a special pattern from the tiles. The overlapped style could change the original flat facade of the two buildings.
compared these different size of patterns, the left one may be suitable. However, if the curtain wall use this style, the overlapped effect may not be so obvious and the towers are seemd to be too heavy. So, I improved it in order to make the volume more pure and light. I cut down the thickness of the frame and made a sharp corner instead of the circular one.

The clients provided us a suggestion, that they want to see the building with futuristic appearance which is environment friendly.People are hardly aware of the environment around them. In the certain design of ccT clubhouse, we tried to create such a peaceful and ecological space which stimulate people to pay more attention on the relationship of humen and nature. After lots of researchs, we recognized that our attitude to the site must be friendly and exoteric, in order to achieve such effect.

dESIgN PROcESS
This site is located in chongming Island Shanghai, which is the one of the biggest islands in china. As well, chenjia Town is very closed to the National wetland Park which attracts large numbers of travellers from downtown.
Since 20 years ago, the government decided to construct chongming as an ecological Island. we have to say that, chongming is protected much better than ever. The blue sky, green grass and clear rivers show us we need to build an eco-system to make our buildings sustainable.

Our design rule is to create several independent "shells" with deferent functions, and link them with a free-style suspended terrace. Near the main road, we designed a semi-public area, including lobby and cafe. Because of the private traffic streamline need, we put the vIP rooms and staff offices in the north. People in the vIP rooms can get the best view, and relatively speaking, this area is much quieter than others. Meeting rooms in the middle which contains more people is better to have more open space for urgent evacuation.

URBAN BEST PRAcTIcES AREA OUTdOOR RENOvATION PROjEcT Shanghai-china, [150,800m]2012.05
deisn property: biddesign time: 3 weeks
Team member: Qin Shi, Hu wang, Lukas jiaoMain responsibilities: site analysis, landscape design, drawing and rendering.
The starting point of the design is to connect the north and the south blocks, closely linked to the landscape and traffic and form a set of innovational and cultural in open blocks.general conception is to build a pedestrain bridg with creation and culture, multivariate function and pleasant environment. A vibrant urban public space will be formed in the guiding ideology. I except that this project could enlighten us to think the relevance among human, nature and society.
