VAT is unavoidable, and in some European countries can be charged at up to 25%. But by using the euroShell Card your business can get this money back quickly and easily.

Our VAT recovery service is designed to secure VAT refunds in as little as 14 days after invoicing, instead of up to 6-12 months as can otherwise be the case.

Provided in partnership with FDE, one of Europe’s biggest VAT agencies, the service ensures an improved cash flow – you know how much VAT you will get back and when. It offers:

European-wide coverage – securing VAT refunds from 27 countries

Professional administration of complex, time-consuming tax procedures, liaising with the authorities in their own language and handling all application processes

Reliable advice on which VAT rules apply in different European countries, and on which products purchased abroad have recoverable VAT

Net Invoicing, in which VAT is credited within 14 days of the invoice date

Monthly Refund, offered for non-euroShell Card invoices

RECLAIM DIESEL EXCISE DUTY TOOAs well as refunding VAT, some national tax authorities also refund part of the excise duty on diesel. Once you’re registered with FDE, we at Shell will ensure these refunds too are paid promptly where applicable.
