Till the near past, It was used to design and construct regular or special buildings for transformer centers. But due to the time taking construction of such buildings, beside giving permission for such construction only for a certain limited time due to disturbance to the surroundings in this time period, hardly finding the land required for construction especially in large cities and very high nationalization prices, if any land is found. For all the above we offer to our customers the suitable solution with our kiosks.

SCK type kiosks are transformer and distribution centers produced since 1981. Designed in compliance with the projects and requirements of our customers, the sheet Steel kiosks are structures basically used in energy distribution due to their superior technical characteristics, electrical and mechanical strength and long-life use, the facility of easy and quick start-up, minimum maintenance needs. These kiosks are produced in the following standards and technical characteristics:

A 1 SCK TypesThere are 2 types of SCK kiosk on the active production band: Kiosks used as distribution system are classified as SCK-D and sheet Steel kiosks used as transformer center as SCK-T.

A 1.1 SCK-D Distribution centers

Main features

These are kiosks which contain LV or MV Switching and control elements inside. Dimensions are not standard, but designed in compliance with the customer's project. Cable incoming-outgoing connectors suitable to the used Switchgears are available. Heat insulation is provided with the relevant insulation materials used in the ceiling and walls of the kiosk. According to the requirements, they may be equipped with fan and air-conditioner as well as natural ventilation. Its strong construction is made of galvanized sheet Steel and profiles. According to the requirements the kiosks may be manufactured in the size of standard container. Protection degree from IP 23 to IP 56. If requested, they may be equipped with fire perception and fire fighting systems. They are incorporated in platform, sliding or cable canal- ready floors according to the place of use. They are equipped with doors and locking systems relevant with the design.

A 1.1.1 Compartments

In SCK-D type kiosks Metal Clad and Metal Enclosed Air Insulated and Gas Insulated Switchgears with voltage between 1-40,5 kV can be used as well as Low Voltage AC-DC panels, Protection panels, Control panels and motor supply panels separately or together according to the system needs.

For this reason compartments inside the kiosks are designed in comply with the project. In Mobile solutions, the compartments are designed according to voltage level.

A 1.2 SCK-T Transformer centers

SCK type steel kiosks are rarely used in our country. However, design and manufacture compliant with the system is realized in the direction of customer request. It provides ease in transport and installation since it is a lighter product compared to concrete kiosks.

Main features

Operation safety is certificated by typical tests specified in IEC 62271-200. It has passed internal arc tests as AB. They are factory mounted and routinely tested products. They are manufactured by using 2-3 mm galvanized sheet Steel. They stand on galvanized base compliant with the weight and structure of the system. Electrostatic powder painted. All live ends are closed in compliance with IEC 61330 for user safety. They take small space by their dimensions. They are transported en masse and unloaded to the mounting place as they are composed of two pieces. Production and installation goes on in any season of the year. Switchgears of various types up to 40.5 kV may be used. Low voltage panels suitable to the design are used . Heating thermostat groups are used to prevent interior condensation. Suitable lighting system and internal need plug and socket sets are used. Internally opened ball locks are used in the opened doors. Oil type or dry type transformer up to 1600 kVA may be used.

a- Primary switching compartment

In this compartment, air insulated Metal Clad Switchgear and Metal Enclosed Switchgears produced in Aktif Elektroteknik facilities may be used as well as switching may be done with Gas Insulated RMU.

Dimensions of medium voltage compartment are designed in compliance with the size of switching element to be used and the type of operation.

Switchgear connections are made through Plug-In or Heat Shrinkable type cable terminations relevant with the used medium voltage Switchgear.

Cable terminals are existed under this compartment where entry and exit cables are connected. The connection between the transformer and MV Switchgear is made by passing to the transformer compartment with cable section conforming the transformer power.

Battery charger group fault indicator device is also in this compartment.

b- Transformer compartment

In this compartment, oil or dry type transformers up to 1600 kVA conforming IEC standards are used. Dimensions of the transformer compartment are designed in compliance with the power and size of the transformer to be used. Switchgear connections are made through Plug-In or Heat Shrinkable type cable terminations in compliance with the customer requirements.

Transformers are mounted on profiles relevant with the bearing wheels. Compulsory ventilation suitable to tropical climates are also available for the compartment where standard natural ventilation is present.

c- Secondary compartment

Low voltage panels are designed in compliance with the power of the transformer used and the number of outgoings. Connection to the transformer is provided through bus bar or cable. Also automatic compensation system may be used if requested in the project.

A 1.3 Dimensions

SCK-T kiosks are manufactured in the below types and dimensions in standards up to 24 kV voltage level and 1600 kVA Transformer power and if requested, design specific to the project is possible.

Aktif Elektroteknik has been manufacturing SMK transformer and distribution centers since 2004. These Mono-block type kiosks are using for MV distribution purposes for rated voltage between 1-40,5 kV range and power up to 1600 kVA according to their external use type, manufactured and tested to use in MV distribution systems and which product and manufacture quality is verified by TSE, ISO, OHSAS certificates.

B 1.1 SMK Advantages

Operation safety is certificated with typical tests. Covers very little space due to dimensions. As it is it is composed of two parts, it can be carried and assembled as Mono-block. It can be assembled in a short time as 1 hour at any time of the year. It is suitable for various types of Switchgears up to 40.5 kV Transformers up to 1600 kVA may be used. It can be moved easily. Suitable concrete and steel reinforcement with all calculations.

B 1.2 SMK Tipleri

There exist 2 types of SMK concrete kiosks on the active production band. The kiosks used as distribution system are classified as SMK-D, the concrete kiosks used as transformer center as SMK-T.

B 1.2.1 SMK-D Distribution Centers

General Information

These are kiosks which contains LV or MV Switching and control elements inside. The width and height is standard and the length is designed in compliance with the customer's project. Suitable Cable incoming and outgoing conforming the used Switchgears. Composed of two parts as the main body and ceiling. Naturally ventilated as well as be equipped with fan and air-conditioning relevant with the project. They are manufactured by using C 35 concrete according to TS 500. Parts such as doors and lids are made of galvanized sheet Steel and profiles. IP23D protection degree is available. SMK kiosks are painted with rough exterior paint.

B 1.2.1.1 Compartments

In SMK-D kiosks, Air Insulated and Gas Insulated Metals Enclosed Switchgears with rated voltage between 1-40,5 kV as well as;

SMK-T mono-block transformer centers have the same features as distribution centers in structure.

General Information

Operation safety approved by type tests in conformity with IEC 62271-200. Internal arc tested in accordance as AB. Factory assembled and routinely tested. 2 mm galvanized sheet Steel used in manufacturing. Unit weight is carried by galvanized base. MV-TR-LV compartments are separated with concrete panels. Being combined of two parts makes the units easy to be transported and unloaded to the site easily . Advantage of manufacturing and assembly during all time of the year. Various switchgear types with rated voltage up to 40,5 kV can be assembled inside. Low Voltage panels appropriate with the project can be used. Thermostat groups are used to prevent the inside humidity. Suitable lighting system and internal need plug and socket sets are available. Locks with inside open facility are used for the doors Oil or Dry type transformers up to 1600 kVA can be assembled inside MV-TR-LV connections are being made and tested at the factory.

In this compartment, switching operation can be realized by air insulated Metal Clad Switchgear and Metal Enclosed Switchgears produced in Aktif Elektroteknik facilities as well as Gas Insulated RMU.

Switchgear connections are made through Plug-In or Heat Shrinkable type cable terminations relevant with the used medium voltage Switchgear.

Battery charger group fault indicator device is also in this compartment.

b- Transformer compartment

In this compartment, oil or dry type transformers up to 1600 kVA conforming IEC standards are used. Dimensions of the transformer compartment are designed in compliance with the power and size of the transformer to be used. Switchgear connections are made through Plug-In or Heat Shrinkable type cable terminations in compliance with the customer requirements.

SPK type kiosks are transformer and distribution centers produced first in Turkey by our company in 1997. These prefabricated kiosks with inside operating facility is tested as prefabricated structure with voltage between 1-40,5 kV range and power up to 2500 kVA according to their external use type, manufactured and tested to use in MV distribution systems and which product and manufacture quality is verified by TSE, ISO, OHSAS certificates.

Prefabricated concrete kiosks are produced in four major dimensions as PB1, PB2, PB3, PB4 and provide great facility to our customers in the establishment of any plant by adding them longitudinally as requested. They are the first and sole kiosk type produced in our country with an operation spacing conforming the use of metal clad switchgear (internally 4800 mm).

Ceiling may be closed with concrete panels as well as it may be closed also with steel construction manufacture relevant with the desire of the customer.

All concrete elements are cast with tested concrete and steel reinforcement using the formwork technique reducing workmanship faults to a minimum. It is the only alternative kiosk with internal operation to replace former type masonry buildings.

These are kiosks which may be installed anywhere in any season of the year and be dismounted and re-installed at another place as desired.

The shipment and installation procedure may be realized easily by means of the desired type of vehicles and cranes with no weight problem as they are shipped in parts.

B 2.1 SPK Types

SPK may be used as distribution center and transformer center like SMK and SCK.

B 2.1.1 SPK-D Distribution Center

General Information

These are kiosks contains LV or MV Switching and control elements. Their width and height is standard and their length is designed in compliance with the customer's project. There exist cable entry and exit connections conforming the used switchgears. Ceiling, floor slab and walls are in pieces. Naturally ventilated as well as be equipped with fan and air-conditioning relevant with the project. They are manufactured by using C 35 concrete according to TS 500. Parts such as doors and lids are made of galvanized sheet Steel and profiles. IP23D protection is available. SMK kiosks are painted with rough exterior paint.

B 2.1.1.1 Compartments

B 2.1.2 SPK-T Transformer Centers

SPK-T transformer centers have the same features with distribution centers in structure.

General Information

Operation security is certificated by typical tests specified in IEC 62271-200. It has passed internal arc tests as AB. They are factory mounted and routinely tested products. They are manufactured by using 2 mm galvanized sheet Steel. They stand on galvanized base compliant with the weight and structure of the system. MV-TR-LV compartments are separated with wire fences. Production and installation goes on in any season of the year. Switchgears of various types up to 40.5 kV may be used. Low voltage panels suitable to the design are used . Heating thermostat groups are used to prevent interior condensation. Suitable lighting system and internal need plug and socket sets are used. Internally opened ball locks are used in the opened doors. Oil type or dry type transformer up to 2500 kVA may be used.

A 3.1.2.1 Compartments SMK-T Transformer centers are composed of 3 Compartments:

a- Medium Voltage Switching compartmentb- Transformer Compartmentc- Low Voltage Switching compartment

a- Medium Voltage Switching Compartment

In this compartment, air insulated Metal Enclosed, Metal Clad Switchgears produced in Aktif Elektroteknik facilities may be used as well as switching may be done with Gas Insulated RMU.

Switchgear connections are made through Plug-In or Heat Shrinkable type cable terminations relevant with the used medium voltage Switchgear.

Battery charger group fault indicator device is also in this compartment.

b- Transformer Compartment

In this compartment, oil or dry type transformers up to 2500 kVA conforming IEC standards are used. Dimensions of the transformer compartment are designed in compliance with the power and size of the transformer to be used. Cell connections are made through Plug-In or Heat Shrinkable type cable terminations in compliance with the customer's requirements.

Transformers are mounted on profiles relevant with the bearing wheels. Forced ventilation suitable to tropical climates are also available for the compartment where standard natural ventilation is present.

c- Low Voltage Compartment

Low voltage panels are designed in compliance with the power of the transformer used and the number of exits. Connection to the transformer is provided through the bus bar or cable. Also automatic compensation system may be employed if requested in the project.
