SHAWDIGITAL TV Quick Remote Guide

HOW TO TURN ON YOUR TV AND DIGITAL BOX:

Press the TV button , then the POWER button  – be sure

that your TV set is on channel 3. To turn on your Digital Box press the 

CABLE button  and then the  POWER button  . Ensure that 

when you press any buttons on your remote the CABLE button 

lights up; this means that the remote is set to operate the Digital Box.

HOW TO ACCESS AND SCAN THROUGH THE MINI GUIDE:

If you click one of these PAGE UP (+)or  PAGE DOWN (­)buttons  or 

the OK / SELECT button  a guide that takes up 1/3 of your screen 

will appear. Pressing PAGE UP (+) or PAGE DOWN (­) button  will 

quickly scan the channels as it does so page by page. To scroll through 

the channels on the guide at a slower pace (channel by channel) use 

the ARROW UP and ARROW DOWN  buttons. 

Once you find the channel you would like to view make sure it is 

highlighted and press OK / SELECT  .

HOW TO ACCESS AND SCAN THROUGH MAIN GUIDE:

The GUIDE button will bring up the main screen guide, which will

take up the entire screen. To go to a channel make sure it is highlighted 

and press the OK / SELECT button . To get information on the 

channel that is highlighted press the INFO button .

***Press the EXIT button   to exit the guide or the SHAW ON 

DEMAND ORDERING screen***

HOW TO ACCESS 40 COMMERCIAL FREE MUSIC CHANNELS:

Press the MUSIC button  . To scan the 40 channels use the PAGE

UP (+) or PAGE DOWN (­) buttons  or the  ARROW UP 

and ARROW DOWN  . To listen, press the OK / SELECT button 

 once your chosen channel is highlighted. If you want to go back 

to the channel that you were viewing last, press the LAST button . 

Otherwise, to get out of the music line up, go to any other channel by 

pressing one of the number buttons  ... 

e.g. press the 5button  and then press OK / SELECT button 

and this will take you to channel 5.
