Located in the vibrant business district of Tokyo, Japan, the Shinjuku Grand Hotel displays the convergence of luxury with artistic modernism. Angled walls combined with expansive facades allow guests to experience the changing light and shadows that occur in the city between sunrise and sunset. Asymmetrical balance and wabi sabi design principles lend to the traditional Japanese cultural aesthetic. Bright pops of color and clean, intentional lines reflect the contemporary art culture and introduce form and movement throughout the spaces. Unobstructed floor to ceiling curtain walls force the circulation to the exterior, allowing guests to experience the dynamic Japanese lifestyle. The juxtaposition of serene natural elements and textures with the large bold art pieces and oversized sculptural forms creates an environment that is both stimulating and calming. This modern art hotel provides a sophisticated yet exciting stay for any guest.
