Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:10
As it is written, “There is none righteous, no, not one.”
Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin,
and thus death spread to all men, because all have sinned.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus
Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:8
But God commended (demonstrate s or show s ) His love for us, in that, while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 10:9 - 10
T hat if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that
God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one
believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth c on fession is made unto
salvation.
Romans10:13
For who so ever calls on the n ame of the LORD shall be saved.
Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
The road to salvation through Jesus in Scriptures - KJV
ADVENTURESINCHILDREARING.COM
Step 1. Admit you have sinned (we all do) – Romans 3:23 & Romans 3:10
Step 2. Realize there is a payment required for your sins (death & separation from
the Holy God who created us) – Romans 5:12 & 6:23
Step 3. God loves you so much, He sent Jesus to pay the price. (Jesus is holy and
perfect, He could die and pay the price for our sin – sin is death, Jesus is life) His
love for you is SO big, He died Knowing you would sin, pure unconditional love -
Romans 6:23 & Romans 5:8
Step 4. Jesus didn’t stay dead. If you truly believe that he died for you, and you
confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord – you will be saved! This is a gift,
you cannot earn it – we don’t deserve it – it is a pure and holy gift of God’s love
and forgiveness. Romans 6:23, 5:8, & 10:9-10 and Romans 10:13
Step 5. You have heard the Word of the Living God and if you have stepped out in
faith to accept this truth as your own, you can grow your faith by hearing more
and more in His Word. Study the bible.
Grow closer to the Lord by spending time in His Word. This is not your salvation –
that is a free gift, but this is action you take because of that faith.
When there is a true change in your heart and a decision to follow Christ, there
should be evidence of it in your life as you seek to get to know Him more.
Romans 10:1
– with Scripture verses

Deeper Look – If we could earn our salvation by being good, pay for our sins
by doing good works for others, we wouldn’t need Jesus.
Ephesians 2:8, 9 - For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of
yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Sin is sin, and God is perfect and holy. He cannot be in the presence of sin. In His
very essence – God is Light, and so, in His presence, there is no darkness sin.
When the sins of the world were laid on Jesus – God turned His back. This
demonstration of separation from God, shows us that He cannot and will not be
in the presence of sin. We NEED to be forgiven, we NEED our sins washed away to
be close to our Creator. He loves us and provided the way through Jesus (who
was God in the flesh)
John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
John 1:14 - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His
glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Do you believe that you are a sinner?
The bible says that the wages, or the payment of this sin is death (and separation
from God). Do you think you can earn forgiveness or do you think that it is only by
God’s grace and provision that you can be forgiven?
If I were to go and get you a gift, would you pay me for it, try to earn it? That isn’t
a gift, is it? A gift is free. The only thing you need to do is receive it.
Some think this is too simple, that it couldn’t be that easy, but God’s Word says it
is. People can’t fool the living God – He knows when someone is sincere in their
heart. So, people can’t just go through the process and “look” like they are saved
without God knowing the difference. But, it isn’t hard, it really is as simple as
accepting God’s forgiveness.
Do you believe the things we’ve talked about here?
John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the
Word was God.
John 1:14 - And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His
glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

You see, even though God asks us to step out in faith – it isn’t blind faith. He
has given us His Word to show us the way. It is our instruction manual. He has
given us very clear directions. But that isn’t all.
As we talk about these things, do you feel a stirring in your heart? A tugging at
your spirit?
God doesn’t want us to “guess” at whether or not we are truly saved from sin. He
doesn’t want us confused about what to do. He sent us His word to tell us, and He
sent us His Holy Spirit to guide our hearts and help us recognize the truth.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice
and opens the door, I will come in to him and sup with him, and he with Me.
Is the Holy Spirit knocking at the door of your heart?
Do you want to receive God’s gift of salvation today?
It isn’t hard. We can follow those instructions together right now.
Look back at the verses in Romans and follow through – pray these words with
me if you mean them in your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I understand that the payment of that sin is
death, and that I don’t deserve any better. I know I cannot earn my way to
heaven.
God, I know that Jesus died for me, to pay the price for my sin. Lord, thank you for
providing a way for my forgiveness.
I ask you now to wash away my sins. I know it is by the blood of Jesus alone, by his
death and resurrection that I am saved.
I accept your free gift of salvation right now. I give you my heart, my life, and all
that I am. Thank you Lord for forgiving me!”
If you have prayed this prayer – if you believe in your heart that Jesus is the King
of Kings and Lord of Lord’s – that he died and rose again – If you have accepted
His gift, then you can KNOW beyond a shadow of a doubt . . . . .

love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them
that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.
