Worried about upgrading due to poor performance? We will look at various tools for analyzing and measuring performance of your farm. We will look at simple SharePoint and IIS configuration options to instantly improve performance. I will discuss advanced approaches for analyzing, measuring and implementing optimizations in your farm. What three things will the attendees learn? 1. Many optimizations can be enabled through simple configuration options. 2. Measuring and analyzing performance is a critical function in maintaining the health of your farm. 3. How to identify performance issues and identify bottlenecks. Demonstrate how to create BCS Applications with SharePoint Designer 2010 and create External Lists, BCS Web Parts and use Office to work with BCS Data.
