• Freshfel and Copa-Cogeca joint commitment for the EU Platform.
• Idea started to launch a Social Media campaign.
• To raise awareness and to promote the consumption of fruits and vegetables.
• The hashtag used will be #FruitVeg4You.
• Main Social Media platforms used are : Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

The campaign
• The Social Media campaign will share content from our members, as well as created content, facts and figures about fruits and vegetables and interesting articles.
• There are so many good promotion campaigns, national initiatives, etc. Trying to share as many as possible. In whichever language.
• The campaign will run as a trial for one year, but with the possibility to extend.

Share your plate
• A concept within the campaign in order to engage more with the public, inviting consumers to share their plates, recipes and ways they prefer to consume fruits and vegetables

The campaign
• Future ideas include a potential event at EU level, flyers, posters, videos. Including key opinion leaders (blog/ vlog celebrities, chefs, EU policy makers, etc.)
• Main message remains: raising awareness and promoting the consumption of fruit and vegetables.
• All stakeholders are of course welcome to share and join in!
